What’s Happening:
Americans are shocked at the growing anti-Israel sentiment being shared by some Democrats. Progressives have sided with groups that oppose Israel’s right to defend itself after the October 7 attacks.
Numerous marches and rallies across major cities have called for Israel’s defeat while ignoring the atrocities committed by Palestinian terror group Hamas.
Irresponsible statements by various groups have not been condemned by Democrats, nor the president. This could be why one woman was inspired to drive her car into an “Israeli” school in Indianapolis. But it wasn’t an “Israel school” as she first believed.
From AP News:
A woman who allegedly drove her car into a building in Indianapolis after watching coverage of the Israel-Hamas war told officers she believed the building was an “Israel school,” according to police and court records…The building is in fact associated with Radical Hebrew Israelites, a group the Southern Poverty Law Center has designated a “hate group,” noting its ideology has become increasingly antisemitic, anti-white, anti-LGBTQ, xenophobic and misogynistic since the 1960s, The Indianapolis Star reported.
A woman presumably of Palestinian descent drove her car into a school in Indianapolis. She admitted she was inspired to commit this crime after watching news coverage of the war in Israel. One adult and four children were in the school at the time, but none were injured.
She admitted she did it “on purpose.” That suggests she was trying to hurt Israeli Americans. But the school was not in fact an “Israel school.” It was the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge. But it is owned by Radical Hebrew Israelites, a group of so-called “Black Hebrews” who claim to be “true” Israelites.
This group has been designated by the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center as a “hate group” that is anti-Semitic as well as anti-LGBT and anti-white.
This allegedly anti-Semitic woman drove her car into a school run by anti-Semites. Many will see the irony in this situation, though the accused woman may not.
Despite the case of mistaken identity, it does not change the growing acts of hate against Jewish people in America. Anti-Israel groups are being given a platform by some Democrats and the media. It appears that little is being done by the White House to confront this sentiment, which is spreading among progressives.
Pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel demonstrators have even recently vandalized U.S. monuments and tried to storm the White House. Despite this, the administration has yet to denounce this movement.
Key Takeaways:
- A woman in Indianapolis drove her car into a building, thinking it was an “Israel school.”
- The school was owned by “Radical Hebrew Israelites” a black, anti-Semitic “hate group.”
- This comes as some Democrats side with anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian groups.
