In recent years, Americans have been waking up to the fact that major corporations have gone terribly woke. Companies that once claimed to embrace traditional American values are spouting stuff about “systemic racism,” “gender fluidity,” and “toxic masculinity.”

There is a reason for there. Behind the scenes, activist groups have been grading companies on how much they embrace their radical policies. So, these companies have scrambled to show off how “woke” they are–making traditional America Enemy Number One. That has only triggered massive backlash, boycotts, and the loss of billions. And now, a bloodletting is taking place in one major industry.

A recent string of high-profile exits in Hollywood is fueling questions whether backlash towards the left’s diversity push has reached the entertainment industry.

Between June 20 and July 3, at least five executives at top entertainment and media companies leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives have stepped down or were pushed out of their roles.

Dang. At least five powerful executives within Hollywood studios and companies are leaving their posts–just as Americans are pushing back against the industry’s woke agenda. These executives were in charge of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” or DEI–one of corporate America’s terms for political correctness or wokeness.

These executives were the driving forces behind Disney’s and other companies’ attempts to make their content hopelessly political. They demanded everything from TV shows to theme park rides to embrace leftist propaganda. The goal was obvious: to force Americans to adopt their leftist way of thinking.

All so that, in the future, all Americans would be liberal–and vote accordingly.

Much of this started in earnest after Donald Trump was elected, but it has been growing slowly for decades. Only now have Americans gotten so sick of this brainwashing, that they are voting against these companies with their wallets.

Five executives from major Hollywood companies have been axed, including Disney and Netflix. It’s unclear what this means for the future, though. Chances are, these companies will have to find replacements, in order to keep these activist groups happy.

But if they hire more woke executives, they will only continue to lose money. Only when Hollywood stops pushing leftist talking points will Americans trust it again. That might be impossible though…
