Kamala’s VP Walz Accused of Sending Millions in Grants to al Qaeda-Linked Organization

Democrats and the mainstream media have been working overtime to try to portray Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as a likable moderate in the wake of Kamala Harris naming him her running mate. When looking at his record, however, it quickly becomes clear that he’s just as radically liberal as Harris.

The latest reports on Walz’s actions as governor may be the most disturbing yet. Indeed, the implications they have about what he and Harris may have planned for America as a whole if they come to power are nothing short of terrifying.

Funding records have confirmed that under Walz’s leadership, the state of Minnesota gave over $2 million to an Islamic group that fundraises for a charity linked to an al Qaeda affiliate. Clearly, Walz sees no problem with handing over American taxpayer money to terrorist-linked groups.

From The Washington Examiner:
The Islamic Association of North America, the recipient of the state grants from 2019 to 2024, is fundraising after Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel last year for Rahma Worldwide, a Michigan-based charity that says it is shipping humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to flyers.

In a since-deleted Facebook post in October 2023, Rahma Worldwide President Shadi Zaza revealed his charity was collaborating on an aid initiative with the Islamic Heritage Revival Society of Kuwait, a terrorist group sanctioned by the U.S. government for funding al Qaeda.

This just goes to show that Walz is the last person that we need anywhere near the White House. He can portray himself as a moderate all that he wants to, but there’s nothing centrist about handing out American taxpayer dollars to foreign groups that have links to al Qaeda.

If that’s what he did as governor of Minnesota, imagine what he’ll do when he is second in command of America.

Walz Linked To Controversial Imam

Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a long line of disturbing aspects of Walz’s past that have come to light.

More from The Washington Examiner:
News of the Walz administration’s grants to the IANA comes as the Democratic vice presidential candidate faces backlash after a series of Washington Examiner reports revealed his ties to Muslim cleric Asad Zaman.

As Minnesota’s governor, Walz has repeatedly hosted Zaman, who shared a pro-Adolf Hitler movie on social media and defended the Oct. 7 attack. Moreover, according to unearthed footage, Walz referred to Zaman as a “master teacher” at a 2018 event held by the Zaman-led Muslim American Society of Minnesota, which partners with the IANA.

Harris’s campaign has denied that Walz has any personal relationship with Zaman. However, Walz himself has yet to comment on this.

The mainstream media portrays Walz as a lovable dad-like figure. They’ve attempted to make him look so harmless that anyone who doesn’t like him is “weird.” These revelations from his time as governor, however, indicate that something far more sinister lurks beneath the friendly facade that he shows to the world.

Of course, the mainstream media will sweep all of this under the rug. While the press completely scrutinizes every little thing that Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance has ever done, Walz is constantly given a free pass. Here’s hoping that American voters are able to see through the media’s affable portrayal of him, as we simply can’t afford to have him be a heartbeat away from the White House.

Key Takeaways:

  • Walz gave American taxpayer money to al-Qaeda-linked groups.
  • Walz has also been linked to an Imam with neo-Nazi sympathies.
  • Walz is a radical liberal, not the moderate the media portrays him as.
