Just this week, Democrats were thrown for a loop over a recent 2024 poll. A New York Times survey revealed that Joe Biden is losing to Donald Trump in several key battleground states.

This has shaken the left’s confidence that Biden–who is suffering from dismal approval numbers–could win re-election next year.

Rumblings have been growing about Biden’s viability. Obama’s former campaign manager hinted that Joe should go. And now, the liberals on daytime talk show The View appear to have thrown Biden under the bus.

“The View” host Sara Haines lamented the Democrats’ lack of options going into the 2024 presidential election, saying that the party didn’t really have the “privilege” of a candidate other than President Joe Biden…

“What’s the — when they talk about Biden stepping down, what’s the next choice? Where do you go from there?” she asked. “Because now you talk about Vice President Harris, who is polling, if we would go with the polling, even worse. But you can’t step over her, so what are you doing in this one-year runway?”

The liberal hosts of The View have long made their leftist politics known. Recently, they were expressing their fears about the coming presidential election. President Biden is the incumbent and has vowed to stay in the race.

But the polls look very bad for in him several must-win states. There are growing fears that those numbers will get worse in the coming year.

The women were worried because, according to them, there isn’t anyone that can step in and replace Biden. They already are dismissing the sitting president as a viable candidate and are talking about who should take his place.

But they admitted that Kamala Harris is doing “even worse” according to approval polls. So, who would be next in line to run for president?

Because the Democratic Party has been so adamant about supporting Biden’s campaign, very few people have considered running. The party forced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to run as an independent, so they cannot look to him for help.

If the polls continue to go the way they are, Democrats will be left with no options. Right now, they have a slim chance of finding someone other than Biden. But as 2024 begins, they will be stuck with Joe. And they will have to pretend like he is the best choice, despite what they all know.
