Former President Donad Trump is one of the most vocal individuals in the political scene. He also isn’t afraid to drop surprising predictions from time to time.

Even some of his followers are surprised at just how often his predictions come true, though.

And just recently, one of Trump’s predictions that he called “inevitable” came true — and he’s actually getting a lot of praise for it.

This one isn’t political in nature; it actually involves the professional golf tour. As most people know, Trump himself is a big fan of the sport and often takes to the course during his downtime.

In a Truth Social post in July of last year, Trump warned that golfers who remain loyal to the “very disloyal PGA” will regret it when a certain merger comes through:

All of those golfers that remain ‘loyal’ to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big ‘thank you’ from PGA officials who are making millions of dollars a year.

Pro golfers were looking forward to big paydays if they defected to the LIV Tour, despite criticism over Saudi funding. Many referred to this as “blood money.”

But the PGA and LIV did agree to a merger this week, so Trump was right all along.

Almost a year after the PGA said the merger was “off the table,” it’s a done deal.

PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said it’s a “transformational partnership” that combines the “immeasurable strength of the PGA Tour” with the DP World Tour and LIV.

It didn’t take long for social media users to remind everyone of Trump’s prediction, either. As for Trump himself, he didn’t seem to call attention to this fact, and instead posted on Truth Social:

Trump has hosted several LIV Golf tournaments at his golf properties, and follows the sport awfully closely. He also knows a little something about big business.

So, when he predicted the PGA and LIV would merge, people probably should’ve listened.

He warned the golfers about what was going to happen, and it happened. It’s hardly the first prediction of Trump’s that has come true, though obviously most of his hard-hitting statements are political in nature.

But it definitely proves that despite what the left wants to believe, Trump is not “always wrong.” In fact, he seems to be right a stunning percentage of the time.
