Trump Reveals His Possible #1 VP Pick – And It’s Not Who His Supporters Expected

What’s Happening:

At the moment, Donald Trump is leading the GOP primaries by a wide margin. If the polling is accurate, he will win most of the delegates needed to become the party’s presidential nominee (if the left’s endless indictments don’t slow him down). There is a very good chance Trump will become the man to face off against Joe Biden.

So now, people are asking a very important question: who will be Donald Trump’s running mate?

We can be very confident Trump will not bring back Mike Pence. Their relationship has long soured since January of 2021. Many are wondering if he will look to his fellow presidential candidates. Could he nab Haley or DeSantis? He was asked about a certain rising GOP star. And Trump’s answer might surprise you.

From Axios:

Former President Trump showered Vivek Ramaswamy with praise when asked in an interview if he’d considered the 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur for vice president…

Trump called Ramaswamy “smart” and “young” and “full of talent”…

“He’s a very, very, very intelligent person. He’s got good energy, and he could be some form of something,” Trump said of Ramaswamy. “I tell you, I think he’d be very good.”

Wow. Glenn Beck asked Trump what he thought about GOP rival Vivek Ramaswamy. The former president gave Ramaswamy a glowing report. And when asked if he’d consider him as a running mate, Trump said “he’d be very good.”

Vivek might be an attractive figure to bring on board Trump’s campaign. He comes from the private sector, just like Trump. So, he is much less likely to be a servant of the D.C. swamp. Also, Ramaswamy is known for going after controversy. He is afraid to speak his mind even when it’s not politically correct, just like Trump.

But is this a possibility? Trump’s nomination is not in the bag yet. And it is likely Vivek will continue to fight hard to get the nomination himself. But once the dust settles next year, could Ramaswamy accept an invitation to join Trump’s team?

Anything is possible. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump could be considering Vivek Ramaswamy as his 2024 running mate.
  • The former president called Vivek “smart” and “full of talent.”
  • Ramaswamy, like Trump, is a political outsider from the private sector.
