Trump Juror Suddenly Dismissed – He’s Tossed Out for Pulling 1 Very Anti-American Move

Former President Donald Trump faced a flurry of problems with jurors selected for the hush money trial against him. Jury bias is a big concern for Trump’s team, and evidence of how bad it is in New York City was revealed this week.

The key to any criminal trial in America is finding and selecting a group of impartial jurors. That is a monumental task with Trump who is known throughout the world and it seems impossible that anyone in America doesn’t have an opinion about him.

What transpired with jurors in Trump’s Manhattan trial this week was surreal. The full jury had been selected and then the truth about several jurors was exposed, causing a whirlwind of problems at the trial.

From The Daily Wire:
Jury selection for former President Donald Trump’s New York hush-money trial hit more roadblocks on Thursday when two jurors were dismissed after being sworn in on Tuesday, including one who had previously been arrested for tearing down Right-leaning political posters.

Judge Juan Merchan excused juror #4 after a prosecutor from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office said the man had been arrested for ripping down “political posters that were on the Right,” Fox News reported. Juror #4’s dismissal came just after another juror — juror #2 — was excused by Merchan following her admission that she could no longer be impartial.

Deep-seated opinions that were previously undisclosed seem to be a common problem among the jury pool. This raises concerns about how Trump will be – or is already – perceived by members of the group of people who will decide his fate. These dismissed jurors are prime examples of this concern.

“I definitely have concerns. I don’t think I can be fair,” Juror #2 said, adding that “outside influence” would “interfere” with her judgment.

When these two jurors were tossed, the total number of those seated dropped to five. The court wasted no time in searing in a new crop and brought the total back to 12. The court must still find five more jurors as alternates before the trial can continue.

How many more people in this jury pool will reveal how much they hate conservatives and Trump? Judge Merchan continued with jury selection on Friday and expects opening statements to begin early next week.

This is the first criminal trial against a former U.S. president and issues with potential jurors have been a problem since before it started. Dozens of prospective jurors were rejected on Monday, the first day of the trial, because they were not clear on their ability to remain impartial throughout the trial.

The trial centers on 34 counts against Trump for alleged falsifying business records to make alleged hush money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels. Trump has publicly called the trial “a political persecution” and an “assault on America.”

That attack was evident when Judge Merchan slapped Trump with a gag order and Bragg filed a motion to throw Trump in jail for 30 days if he violated the order. Merchan’s order essentially silences Trump from publicly discussing most aspects of the case, including family members of those involved.

Bragg has already attacked Trump by saying he violated the order multiple times with social media posts.

Key Takeaways:

  • A juror in Trump’s hush money trial was dismissed for tearing down Right-leaning signs.
  • Another juror was dismissed after revealing she could no longer remain impartial.
  • The court has dismissed dozens of jurors who say they can’t be fair during the trial.
