Trump Case Gets a Jolt from Legal Expert – He Just Predicted a Stunning End

Democrats launched a criminal case against Donald Trump over a supposed hush money scheme. Liberals in New York accused Trump of falsifying business records in the runup to the 2016 Election.

Their star witness was Michael Cohen, a former Trump lawyer who has served time in jail for perjury.

Many shocking revelations came out during the trial. One of them was how Cohen admitted to stealing $30,000 from Trump. Now, a CNN legal analyst is commenting on the closing arguments. And he just made this stunning prediction.

From The Blaze:
CNN legal analyst Randy Zelin told host Kate Bolduan the prosecution in former President Donald Trump’s case in New York City was far from proving beyond a reasonable doubt that he was directly involved in paying off Stormy Daniels…

“Where is Keith Schiller? Where is Allen Weisselberg? How did Michael Cohen get away with stealing $30,000? Hold a pity party for him — made $4 million on this, thought he’d be chief of staff. He’s a fixer! If the plumber comes to my house to fix my leak, I could be home. That doesn’t mean I know how he’s doing it and what it’s taking to be fixed,” he continued.

CNN contributor Randy Zelin claimed that the prosecution failed to prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that Trump broke the law. Their star witness’s testimony was tainted from the start. He admitted he was a thief and liar.

Zelin explained that just because Cohen was involved in some kind of hush money scheme, doesn’t mean that Trump knew about it. He compared it to a plumber who comes to fix a leak. Just because you hired him doesn’t mean you know what he is doing.

The revelation that Cohen stole tens of thousands of dollars might have doomed the prosecution’s case. Cohen was able to take this money and get away with it. How? Because he was forging records without Trump’s knowledge of it. That lends weight to the possibility that Cohen falsified business records without Trump’s approval.

Democrats further tainted the process when they held a press conference outside the courthouse. While Trump’s defense team was making its closing arguments, Biden’s campaign ranted against him outside. They even enlisted the help of Robert De Niro, who appears to be losing his mind with hate for Trump.

Key Takeaways:

  • CNN legal expert claimed prosecutors failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Trump is guilty.
  • Zelin claimed that Cohen was largely responsible for the crime, without Trump’s knowledge.
  • Many believe Democrats launched this case simply to derail Trump’s campaign.
