Trump Announces a Surprise Boost – And it Comes Just Days Before 1 Critical Event

We are moving closer to big dates in this year’s presidential primaries. In just a few weeks, many states will be going to the polls to vote for their candidate. At this moment, Trump has 63 delegates and Nikki Haley has 17.

One crucial state will hold its primaries in mid-March. It will award 43 delegates. But already it looks like the tide is turning.

A number of Republican officials from the state have made their voices heard. And Trump released a surprising announcement about what they said. It looks like Trump is only adding to his momentum.

From The Post Millennial:
On Tuesday, the Trump campaign announced a slew of endorsements for the 2024 GOP frontrunner by Arizona lawmakers.

Trump received a total of 23 endorsements from these Arizona lawmakers, including 12 Senators and 11 members of the House…

According to FiveThirtyEight, Trump has a commanding lead in the primary race, with 76.9 percent support compared to Nikki Haley’s 21 percent.

Trump announced that 23 Arizona lawmakers have endorsed him for president. That includes 12 state senators and 11 members of the House. It is unclear how many, if any, Arizona leaders have endorsed Haley.

Trump is currently beating Haley in state polls, 76.9 to 21. Haley has suffered recently when she failed to win a single delegate in Nevada. The candidate did not participate in the caucuses, allowing Trump to win the entire state.

So far, the president has dominated in early primary states. His victory in Iowa was so decisive, it forced Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to pull out of the race. Only Nikki Haley continues to run against Trump. Most polls in upcoming states reveal she is far behind him.

The next state to hold its GOP primaries is South Carolina. Nikki Haley had previously served as governor of the state. Yet she is well behind Trump, according to polls. One has him leading by 63 to 29.

There still remains a small segment of the GOP that does not want Trump to be the nominee. But the former president continues to enjoy tremendous support from his base—including outsiders who historically have not supported the Republican Party.

Recent polls have even shown Trump with a lead over Biden in swing states. The president has made the race about abortion and fearmongering voters over a second Trump term. But it is possible Biden’s many failings will be too hard for him to overcome.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump announced that 23 Arizona lawmakers have endorsed him for president.
  • Arizona will hold its GOP primaries later in March.
  • At the moment, Trump is leading Nikki Haley in delegates.
