Despite overwhelming opposition from most Americans, the left is determined to sully our sports with their trans agenda. In college sports—and even the Olympics—radical activists have allowed biological men to compete with women. These “transgender” women have an incredible edge over biological women. I don’t have to tell you, they win by a country mile.
That was the case when Lia Thomas, a biological male claiming to be a woman, destroyed every other competitor in the 500 freestyle national championship in Atlanta, Georgia. The left seems to be celebrating this “achievement.” But women athletes, and their supporters, do not. And a top sports star is speaking out against it.
Tennis icon Martina Navratilova said that transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, a biological man living as a woman, should have an “asterisk” next to his name…
“It’s not about excluding transgender women from winning ever,” said the 59-time Grand Slam champion. “But it is about not allowing them to win when they were not anywhere near winning as men.” […]
Navratilova said a solution might be allowing them to compete but not allowing them to take home the gold.
“Because the rules are not correct. But right now, the rules are what they are,” she said. “Maybe put an asterisk there.”
Tennis star Martina Navratilova criticized current rules that allow biological males to compete with biological females. She didn’t say they shouldn’t be able to compete. But they should not be allowed to have such a dramatic edge over athletes who were born women. She believes they should have an asterisk next to their name, to signify the circumstances.
She further explored the idea of allowing for an “open category” for everyone to compete in, which would include biological females and males. It would allow trans people to compete with whoever qualifies. This would allow biological females to compete with only biological females and eliminate the obvious disparity we are seeing today.
The tennis great further blasted these men who couldn’t compete with other men. Most of the “trans” women destroying their female competition could not come close to beating other men. But the moment they “identified” as women, they had a competitive edge. Anyone unafraid of the woke mob will tell you what is really happening.
Navratilova is making perfect sense. And, despite the trans agenda, is going to be unavoidable. Right now, we have only a few trans people exploiting the current rules. But how long before most “female” athletes competing are just men looking for an edge? How long before both “male” and “female” categories are dominated by biological men? Not very long at all.
Sports leagues will have no choice but create open categories for everyone and restrict biological categories for those born male or female.
