What’s Happening:

The person behind Biden’s terrible energy decisions is known other than Jennifer Granholm. Not only is she the one who got Biden to ban drilling for oil and natural gas, but she is supporting the idiotic ban of gas stoves!

But Granholm is not doing this out of some desire to “save” the earth.

We learned weeks ago that she had previously been in bed with “green” companies. But she had claimed she never owned individual stocks in companies Biden is throwing money at. Now, she is admitting what we suspected all along. And one Republican is gunning for her.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm disclosed this week that she had owned individual stocks, contradicting previous testimony from the Biden administration official…

Her disclosure was criticized by Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), who is on the Senate Energy Committee.

“Secretary Granholm lied to the committee about her family’s stock holdings,” Barrasso told Fox News. “This comes after her failure to follow basic ethics and disclosure rules. This is a troubling pattern. It is unacceptable.”

Granholm suddenly remembered she owned stocks in certain green businesses. She claimed she did not know she owned those stocks when she first testified before the Senate. Sure, most people buy stock in companies related to the work they are in… but don’t know it.

She even admitted that her husband owned thousands of dollars worth of Ford stock–a company aggressively breaking into the EV market.

Sen. Barrasso called this “sudden” discovery “unacceptable.” He accused the Democrat of failing to follow “basic ethics” rules.

Previously, we learned that she once owned stock in green companies–to the tune of one million dollars. She sold off the stocks before joining Biden’s team, but that doesn’t mean the conflict of interest has gone away. How can we trust she is making the best decisions for Americans, when she has invested in companies that are benefiting from Biden’s Green New Deal?

Senate Republicans could use this to build a case against the Biden official. With enough pressure, they can get her to resign.
