Tim Walz Called out by Minnesota Businesses, Governor’s ‘Communist’ Policies Exposed

Governor Tim Walz has been leading Minnesota down a troubling path of harmful socialist policies. Many believe he has crippled the state’s economy and eroded its core values. Since taking office, Walz pushed a progressive agenda that’s been nothing short of disastrous for Minnesota’s small businesses and working families.

His policies, reminiscent of the most overbearing government controls, have left Minnesotans feeling like they’re living under a regime rather than a democratic government.

From excessive taxation to Draconian lockdowns, Walz’s administration has made it increasingly difficult for businesses to survive, let alone thrive. His COVID-era mandates, coupled with his aggressive tax policies, have left a lasting scar on Minnesota’s economy. Small business owners, who are the backbone of the state’s economy, have found themselves struggling to stay afloat. Now, one of those residents is exposing this would-be vice president.

From Fox News:
A local small business owner railed against Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz as “the worst governor we’ve ever had in Minnesota.”…

“He has ruined our state. I am angry and disgusted,” Kruger told Fox News Digital… “Him and the Democrats, once they got the trifecta in the House and Senate and the governor, they have absolutely ruined our state. We are now probably more communist than California.”

One such business owner, Diane Kruger, is living proof of the devastation Walz’s policies have wrought. Kruger, who runs a Scentsy business in Minnesota, is still reeling from the effects of the COVID-era restrictions that Walz enforced. Speaking to Fox News Digital at the Cottonwood County Fair, Kruger didn’t hold back her feelings. “He has ruined our state. I am angry and disgusted,” she declared, echoing the sentiments of many Minnesotans.

Kruger’s business, which relies heavily on house parties and events, saw a staggering 50% drop in income during 2020 when Walz decided to shut down the economy. “I couldn’t do any house parties. I couldn’t do any shows. I couldn’t do any events,” she explained. And despite her best efforts, she still hasn’t recovered from the financial blow.

But it’s not just the economic impact that has Kruger fired up. Walz’s radical policies, like expanding access to abortion and mandating that school bathrooms stock tampons in male restrooms for transgender-identifying individuals have left many Minnesotans scratching their heads. “Walz is the worst governor we’ve ever had in Minnesota,” Kruger asserted. “I always called him tyrant Timmy or dictator Walz. I wouldn’t call him Governor Walz because he’s not my governor.”

Kruger’s fears extend beyond Minnesota. With Walz now on the ticket as Kamala Harris’s running mate, she believes that the entire country is at risk. “We won’t have a country left if Walz is elected as the vice president in November,” she warned. In her view, a Harris-Walz administration would turn the United States into a “communist country within a year” and that it would be “the worst thing that we’d never, probably ever get our country back.”

Kruger isn’t alone in her concerns. Other Minnesota business owners, like Long Her, who saw his St. Paul establishment destroyed during the 2020 George Floyd riots, have voiced similar frustrations. Walz’s failure to protect businesses during those tumultuous times only adds fuel to the fire.

As Rep. Pete Stauber pointed out, many businesses have chosen to leave the state rather than deal with the high taxes and restrictive policies that Walz has championed. With the highest income tax rate in the nation and new taxes on the horizon, it’s no surprise that Minnesota’s business community is up in arms.

Key Takeaways:

  • Gov. Tim Walz’s socialist policies are harming Minnesota’s economy and small businesses.
  • Business owners like Diane Kruger are still struggling to recover from Walz’s COVID-era restrictions.
  • Walz’s radical policies and high taxes are driving businesses out of Minnesota and could have national repercussions if he becomes vice president.
