Tim Tebow Gets Rocked on Live TV – He Gives ‘All Glory to God’ After Finding Out He’s in College Hall of Fame

What’s Happening:

Americans might have lost faith in many of our athletes in recent years. But there are still a few incredible players who, throughout their careers, inspired fans and brought hope to millions. One of those players is outspoken Christian and all-star Tim Tebow.

Long before he played for the NFL, he was making history as a college football quarterback. Today, he continues to be a strong presence off the field, as a commentator and influencer. And during a live event, he was surprised by an amazing honor. And his response got millions of fans pumped.

From The Federalist Papers:

Tim Tebow’s fellow on-air ESPN personalities surprised him before Monday’s college football national championship game with the announcement that he had been accepted into the College Football Hall of Fame…

Highlights from Tebow’s career appeared on the screen. Tessitore walked over to Tebow, saying, “Timmy, congratulations,” and gave him a hug, as did fellow ESPN co-hosts Jesse Palmer and Dan Muller.

After Tebow was surprised by this incredible honor, he quickly gave thanks on his Twitter.

Tebow was not only a phenomenal quarterback. He was (and is) outspoken about his faith in God. Even when that brought backlash from critics and the liberal media, he continued to stand up for his Christian faith, during and after his time on the field.

Few folks will argue he doesn’t deserve to be in the College Football Hall of Fame. During the show, he said he was humbled to receive such an honor. Soon afterward, he posted to Twitter that he gives “All glory to God” for what happened.

At a time when so many celebrities and athletes seem to dishonor Americans’ faith and traditions, Tebow is bucking the trend. Millions of Americans respect the man, not just for his skills as a player. He stood up for his faith at a time when it would have been easy to hide it.

People insulted him, told him to shut up. He it seems that only made him a more vocal representative for people of faith. Is induction into the College Football Hall of Fame is another testament to what someone can achieve, when they strive for great things and refuse to hide their values and beliefs.
