ABC’s The View just might be the worst thing on television. The show, which pretends to be a thoughtful roundtable of insightful women, is nothing more than mindless “entertainment.” The group spends most of the time spewing leftist misinformation. Often, they embarrass themselves with how little they understand the facts.
Recently, they had a chance to talk to famed actor Liam Neeson. The man was interested in sitting down with them and continuing a conservative they had started about gun violence. Instead, he spent the next few minutes in what he called an “uncomfortable” and pointless segment.
From Fox News:
“I go onstage and join the ladies during the break, and I was congratulating them on this discussion. And then our segment starts and it’s just all this BS with Joy [Behar] and Liam Neeson and having a crush… I’m uncomfortable in those situations, you know?” […]
During the segment, co-host Sunny Hostin told Neeson that Joy Behar would believe anything he says because she thinks he is the “hottest and the greatest ever.”
The show played several clips of Behar saying things like she “would like to have my ashes sprinkled over Liam Neeson.”
Ew. Neeson hoped he could have a reasonable conservation with these women. They all pretend like they care about important issues, right? So much so, that they often attack conservatives, claiming to have the high, moral ground.
Yet when Neeson wanted to talk about something important, he was denied. Instead, the show devolved into this meaningless discussion about how Behar is obsessed with Neeson. So much for feminism, huh?
When these ladies get around an attractive male, they turn into blabbering high school girls. Not that they sound any smarter than that on a normal day.
Isn’t that interesting? When it’s convenient, these women want to be taken seriously. But when it’s time for the meaningless puff piece aimed at promoting an actor’s latest movie, they revert to their true selves: mindless imbeciles who gush over movie stars.
Maybe we should remember this the next time these women call for open borders or stricter gun control? They are hardly experts worth paying attention to.
