So, what has Biden done since his much-talked-about trip to the border? Well, let’s see… uh, nothing. Biden’s trip was blasted as an empty photo-op. He did not see the crisis nor did he promise action to end it. And, to make matters worse, he still intends to drop Title 42–which would mean an even greater surge of illegal immigrants.
Border states, especially Texas, can’t sit back and let their communities get destroyed. Already millions of illegals have flooded the country since 2021. So, Texas Republicans are drafting a bill that will shut down Biden’s scheme for good. And they are using Biden’s own actions against him.

This is pretty clever. Texas is proposing a bill that will allow them to keep Title 42 in place and defend the border, as long as Biden’s public health emergency and other COVID restrictions are still in place.
The bill, according to reports, will empower Texas law enforcement to require non-citizens to enter through legal ports of entry. And illegal immigrants will be returned back to where they came from.
Texas is using Biden’s own scheme against him. He recently signed an order keeping the public health emergency alive–despite three years since COVID first appeared. The federal government still has various restrictions in place. Even recently, the administration mulled bringing back mask mandates–perhaps to just spite Americans.
Texas is forcing Biden to too between his open border scheme and his COVID exploitation scheme. He can’t both milk COVID for cash and power while leaving the border open to illegal immigration. Either he ended the emergency crisis or lets Texas close the border.
It’s a lose-lose for old Joe. But he had it coming. Biden has refused to lead like a real president since day one. He’s let drug cartels and other criminals run the border. It’s about time he gets what’s coming to him.
