Over the past few years, Democrats have been trying to make it easier than ever for illegal aliens to vote in American elections. Having alienated millions of American citizens with their failed policies, Democrats have resorted to attempting to allow as many non-citizens as possible to vote in a desperate and shameful attempt to stay in power.
Now, thankfully, the great state of Texas is fighting back. Indeed, the Lone Star state just made a huge move to protect election integrity. More states need to follow suit immediately.
In the wake of the implementation of a 2021 law to safeguard Texas elections, thousands of non-citizens and felons were removed from voter roles in the state. On Tuesday, the exact numbers in this voter roll cleanup were announced, and they’re huge.
From Daily Wire:
More than 1 million ineligible voters have been removed from the Lone Star State’s voter rolls, Governor Greg Abbott announced yesterday. The cleanup of the voter rolls, which was made possible by Senate Bill 1, resulted in over 6,500 non-citizens and more than 6,000 felons being removed.“Election integrity is essential to our democracy,” Abbott stated. “I have signed the strongest election laws in the nation to protect the right to vote and to crackdown on illegal voting. These reforms have led to the removal of over one million ineligible people from our voter rolls in the last three years, including noncitizens, deceased voters, and people who moved to another state.”
“We will continue to actively safeguard Texans’ sacred right to vote while also aggressively protecting our elections from illegal voting,” Abbott went on to state. The announcement from Abbott also noted that the process is ongoing.
On top of that, more than 457,000 deceased people and over 134,000 people who had moved were removed from the voter rolls as well.
Boom!
More States Need To Do This
There is no reason why every state in the U.S. should not be carrying out this same cleanup. It should go without saying that taxpaying American citizens should be the only ones voting in our elections. People who have committed felonies and individuals who are in this country illegally have no business having a say in who the next American president will be.
Of course, states run by Democrats have no interest in acting any kind of voter roll cleanup like this one. After all, in many states, Democrats seemingly depend on the votes of illegal aliens, felons, and dead people in order to stay in power.
States led by Republicans, however, are a different story. Unlike Democrats, Republicans actually want American citizens to be the only ones voting in our elections. That’s why Republican leaders all over the country should take notice of what Texas did and consider taking similar action.
The stakes of a presidential election have never been higher. Now more than ever, election integrity must be protected at all costs for the sake of real Americans.
Key Takeaways:
- Texas removes over one million ineligible voters from voter rolls.
- This includes thousands of illegal aliens, felons, and deceased people.
- More states need to do this to protect election integrity.
