The disaster at East Palestine, OH might be considered an isolated incident–had it not been for all the other crises allowed by the Department of Transportation. Since Biden appointed Pete Buttigieg to oversee this agency, America has been hit with numerous transportation-related problems. It’s as if Pete is trying to destroy our infrastructure.
After neglecting the crisis for three weeks, Pete finally showed up in East Palestine. But the man was there for barely a day, sticking around only long enough to post pictures to Twitter. He even refused to answer questions, hiding behind his press secretary. Now, the top constitutional scholar of the Senate is dropping the hammer on Joe and his useless apprentice.
And he reveals exactly why this administration is ignoring Ohio.

Wow. Sen. Ted Cruz is accusing the Biden administration of doing nothing over the ecological disaster in East Palestine, because the town voted for Donald Trump in 2020. He says this is obvious based on Joe and his team’s “attitude” toward this issue.
Had this derailment and subsequent disaster happened in, say, Chicago, it would have been all hands on deck. Biden, Harris, Buttigieg, and everyone from the White House would have been there, wouldn’t they? But when this happens in a predominately white, conservative part of America, it’s not high on Joe’s priority list.
Sen. Cruz blasted Joe for not going to the town yet. Donald Trump went there first, providing supplies, truckloads of water, and hope. Buttigieg popped in one day later, with nothing. He dressed up in a hard hat and reflective vest, looking all the world like a child pretending to be a grown-up.
Cruz said what many of us have been thinking in recent months. Why hasn’t this man been fired yet? Pete neglected the supply chain crisis, the rail unions’ conflict, multiple airport shutdowns, and now this disaster. He’s been MIA many times, as if he doesn’t care about his job.
Had he been a Republican appointee, he would have been canned long ago. But because he’s a Democrat, the media is silent.
