Speaker Johnson Demands Immediate Firing over Trump Shooting for Secret Service Head Cheatle

Questions are still left unanswered over the attempt on Trump’s life. Hearings and investigations have been conducted. But we are no closer to understanding how the Secret Service failed so miserably in preventing a gunman from shooting at the former president. Only the turn of his head saved Trump from death. The fact we were so close to losing a president was completely unacceptable.

We have learned plenty about the gunman. He had been spotted by police and security an hour before the speech.

Yet, the Secret Service lost sight of him. The agency failed to secure the building on which the gunman took his shot. Even more galling is that the DEI-obsessed head of the Secret Service refuses to resign, even though she claimed the “buck stopped” with her. Now, House Speaker Johnson is demanding action from the Biden administration. And he is calling on Joe to do the obviously right thing.

From Daily Wire:
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said on Thursday that President Joe Biden should fire Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle after the security failure underlying the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a weekend rally in Pennsylvania.

In a call for all House members on Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Cheatle “did not give us satisfactory answers to some very important questions.”…

“Yesterday I said that she should resign. It’s clear that she has no intention to do so, but the oversight here, the mistakes, the ineptitude, whatever it is, was inexcusable.”

Cheatle’s Failure Demands Accountability

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is not pulling any punches. He’s calling on President Joe Biden to fire Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, labeling her failure to stop the gunman as “inexcusable.” Cheatle’s inability to stop the attack has put the Secret Service under a glaring spotlight. The Republican leader is demanding immediate action to restore credibility and accountability within the agency.

Johnson’s fiery rhetoric and clear-cut demand for Cheatle’s dismissal underscore the understandable frustration among Americans over the assassination attempt. “The American people deserve better,” Johnson declared, adding fuel to the already blazing fire of speculation and anger. His call to action is not just about one position; it’s about setting a precedent for accountability at the highest levels of government.

An Obvious Need for Change

Some might wonder if Biden will bother to fire Cheatle. You could be persuaded to think that Biden doesn’t care that the Secret Service failed to protect his biggest rival. But, just think about it. If Cheatle’s incompetence affected Trump’s security, it will surely impact Biden’s. Every leader who relies on Secret Service protect should be worried right now. Cheatle’s neglect almost led to disaster. Why wouldn’t that happen again, for Biden or Harris?

Cheatle made it her goal to push woke DEI initiatives within the agency. That meant she was more concerned with hiring women to serve as agents, rather than improving the agency’s ability to protect the president. That alone is grounds for firing, since we know for a fact she failed to do her job.

But will Biden actually can her?

Key Takeaways:

  • House Speaker Johnson called for President Biden to fire his head of the Secret Service.
  • Kimberly Cheatle failed to prevent an assassination attempt on Donald Trump; she has refused to step down from her position.
  • Many critics blame Cheatle’s focus on woke priorities for the agency’s lax approach to security.
