During Trump’s Speech, Lead Democrat Tried To Slip One Past Americans

You won’t be shocked to learn that Democrats are at it again. Their audacity knows no bounds. This time they tried to use President Trump for cover.

One of the Democrats’ problems comes from playing both sides of the issue when it comes to sexual harassment and women’s rights. Put simply, their position has been that women claiming to be victims of such abuse must be believed and taken seriously.

That is unless they are accusing a Democrat or a close associate. Then they either ignore them or smear their reputations.

Just recently a Democrat icon was accused of shielding a top advisor from accusations of having committed sexual misconduct.

She needed to address this, so when did she choose? Fifteen minutes before President Trump began his State of the Union address.

The Washington Examiner didn’t miss this and wasted no time calling her out.

Hillary Clinton waited until 15 minutes before President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday evening to publish a response to last week’s report alleging she shielded a top campaign adviser in 2008 from credible allegations of sexual misconduct.

Great timing, madame secretary. It’s probably just a coincidence that she pushed out a response to the scandal just as every eyeball in the news media was trained elsewhere.

Here’s her comment. Is this the closest this woman has ever come to admitting she made a mistake?

“I very much understand the question I’m being asked as to why I let an employee on my 2008 campaign keep his job despite his inappropriate workplace behavior,” the failed presidential candidate said in a statement posted to her Facebook page.

“The short answer is this: If I had it to do again, I wouldn’t.”

That’s very carefully crafted, and probably untrue. History shows she will do everything she can in her quest for power.

Here’s what she actually did back in 2008.

During the 2008 primaries, Clinton was told that one of her senior advisers, Burns Strider, was sexually harassing a female colleague, the New York Times reported last Friday.

Clinton declined a recommendation to fire the man. Instead, she dealt with the problem by making the victim sign a nondisclosure agreement. The campaign then shifted the victim to a different position on staff.

So, at Hillary’s command, the victim actually became a victim twice. Once from her staff member’s abusive behavior, and once by Hillary’s disgraceful act of covering it up.

Here’s a portion of her Facebook statement. It’s hard to know whether to be nauseated or amused at this attempt to address the issue while saying nothing.

It [her Facebook post] added, “You may question why it’s taken me time to speak on this at length. The answer is simple: I’ve been grappling with this and thinking about how best to share my thoughts.”

“I hope that my doing so will push others to keep having this conversation — to ask and try to answer the hard questions, not just in the abstract but in the real-life contexts of our roles as men, women, bosses, employees, advocates, and public officials.”

Mrs. Clinton has lived so distantly from the truth for so long, that she has lost the ability to grasp it or express it.

So her situation has become so depraved that she now tries to find cover for her misdeeds behind the man who defeated her in her run for the presidency.

She really is that pathetic.
