What’s Happening:

George Soros is proof to the world that the system is rigged in favor of one party. How in the world does one individual contribute millions… no, billions… of dollars to one political party?

Democrats regularly rage against campaign finance laws and the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United, but when you’ve got a billionaire in your pocket and make sure he can done billions to you, why let anyone else give money?

Unfortunately for Republicans, Soros has not disappeared or retired. In fact, a new report shows he’s going to play a big role in 2024. From Politico:

Billionaire George Soros, the biggest disclosed Democratic donor in the 2022 election cycle, gave another $50 million to a super PAC in the fall, building on an already large investment in Democratic groups and candidates for the 2024 election cycle and beyond.

Democracy PAC, which has served as one of Soros’ major political spending vehicles since 2019, received another eight-figure infusion of cash from Soros earlier this month… It’s the latest sign that Soros will continue to play an enormous role in the Democratic campaign finance ecosystem, particularly ahead of the next presidential election.

$50 million is a lot of money, but just consider for a moment the effect Mr. Soros just had on the 2022 midterms, and for many, many years. From NewsBusters:

Soros seeded his super PAC with $125 million in January ahead of the midterm elections, which also skipped the attention of the ABC, CBS and NBC evening networks at the time.

But even the $125 million is a small fraction of the more than $32 billion overall he has pumped into his Open Society Foundations (OSF) since 1984 to shape global politics to his liking.

Those kinds of numbers are hard to fathom. $32 BILLION? How has one man not holding a political office been allowed to have such an outsized sway in the world, and particularly in America?

Normally my libertarian tendencies would say, a man can spend his money however he likes, but in this case, no matter if he was a conservative or liberal, that kind of money in politics translates into power—far too much power for any man.

Imagine a world where men like George Soros didn’t inject their fortunes into swaying voters to do what they wanted. Imagine an electorate that understood what was at stake and truly voted for their nation’s best interests, rather than being lied to and bribed in endless targeted commercials?

Republicans need to realize who they’re up against in 2024. They’re facing off against the biggest political machine in history, funded by deep pockets and dark money. They’re going to need to pull out all the stops and the very best candidates—if they want to preserve real American freedom for the next generation.
