Not long into Trump’s presidency, he issued an executive order that limited entry from countries that had ties to terrorism—and now he’s getting his final answer on it from the Supreme Court.
It was an important first step in improving our own vetting process. Trump’s administration would not allow ISIS or any radical Islamic terrorists from entering our country.
But it seemed like Democrats didn’t feel the same way. Immediately they protested the order, claiming Trump was being racist. They accused him of attacking Muslim countries. Because, as we all know, Islam is a race.
Liberals ignored the fact that the largest Muslim countries weren’t affected by the ban. And that the ban was only going to last 90 days, in order to give our government time to improve vetting measures. After all, who wants terrorists entering our country? Democrats, it seems.
Quickly after the fake outrage, a radical liberal judge in Hawaii overstepped his power by saying it was illegal. That has led to a lengthy legal battle that has finally ended at the Supreme Court. They just gave their verdict.
From CNBC:
The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in favor of President Donald Trump in Trump v. Hawaii, the controversial case regarding Trump’s September order to restrict travel to the U.S. for citizens of several majority Muslim countries.
In the 5-4 opinion penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court found that Trump’s immigration restriction fell “squarely” within the president’s authority. The court rejected claims that the ban was motivated by religious hostility.
“The [order] is expressly premised on legitimate purposes: preventing entry of nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to improve their practices,” Roberts wrote. “The text says nothing about religion.”
In a word: duh. That’s what we’ve been saying all along. I’ve personally read the original executive order and not once does it mention religion. In fact, way back then, we made it clear the countries banned were selected by the Obama administration for having ties to terrorism.
The Hawaiian court ruling was purely political. A radical, left-wing judge decided to undermine the president’s lawful authority, simply because Trump’s a Republican. It was a pathetic attempt to interfere with the president’s Constitutional power.
The judge, by the way, was buddies with Obama. I wonder where he got the idea in the first place?
Naturally, Trump took to Twitter to share the good news.
SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TRUMP TRAVEL BAN. Wow!

It’s pathetic that any judges in our country would try to undermine the president’s authority in this case. It’s very clear that Trump has the power to do this. Numerous presidents have done the same. Attempts to override this EO was a clear attempt to eradicate the President’s lawful authority.

But why? Because Trump was cruelly targeting Muslims? Of course not. We’ve gone over the order has nothing to do with religion. It was about preventing terrorists from entering America. The left opposed the order, because they’ll oppose anything Trump does. Even measures that few could argue with (like improving our economy, jobs, and national security).
The left is made up of petty babies. They really think they can wrongfully oppose the President and get away with it. They are sorely mistaken. This Supreme Court ruling is a win for every American. It ensures that politics won’t get in the way of keeping us safe.
