RFK Jr. Speaks Up After Biden Drops Presidential Bid, Claims ‘It’s A Two-Man Race’

President Joe Biden finally dropped out of the 2024 presidential race on Sunday. This came after his cognitive failings were on full display to the world in the weeks since his disastrous presidential debate against Donald Trump.

Later in the day after Biden’s announcement, the Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded in a press conference held outside his family’s legendary compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. There, Kennedy gave his thoughts on both Biden stepping down and on what this means for the presidential race.

Kennedy Sounds Off

After praising Biden for his decades-long political career, Kennedy shifted to slamming Democrats for shamelessly covering up his mental decline for years. The American people deserved to know the truth about Biden long ago, yet the Democrat establishment worked overtime to hide his cognitive failings from the world.

From Fox News:
Kennedy, who left the party his family once ruled after it blocked his bid to challenge Biden in primaries, said the Democratic National Committee created a mess by covering for Biden.

“The reaction of the DNC to that obvious condition was to hide it from the American public and to use their power over the Democratic Party nomination process to make sure that nobody could compete with President Biden in a way that would expose his deficiencies,” Kennedy argued.

The Democrat establishment undoubtedly would have continued covering for Biden if they could have. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t protect Biden on the debate stage. There, it became clear to even the most devoted of leftists that rumors of his cognitive decline had some truth to them after all.

In his press conference, Kennedy also called out Vice President Kamala Harris. She is already being hailed as Biden’s potential replacement as the Democratic presidential nominee, even though she does not have a single primary vote to her name.

More from Fox News:
“If the Democrats do what I suspect they’re going to do, which is to anoint Kamala Harris, a vice president who is monumentally unpopular within her own party … they’re doing it because it’s the easiest way to hold on to the money,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy said he would consider accepting the Democrat nomination if were it offered to him.

“I would certainly listen to the party elders if they came to me, I would discuss something with them,” said Kennedy. “I’m the only presidential candidate who can beat Donald Trump, and if I were them, I would do that, and I would certainly listen to their proposals.”

Kennedy concluded by saying that he still believes that he can win this presidential election. He also boldly declared that this is a “two-man race” at the moment.

“I am very content running where I am, and I believe I can win this election,” he said. “I believe at this point it’s a two-man race or two-person race. Let me put it that way. And, you know, and that I’m in the best position to win.”

Clearly, like millions of other Americans, Kennedy has no faith in Harris!

RFK Jr. Is Democrat Establishment’s Worst Nightmare

This is a prime example of why Kennedy has become a major thorn in the side of the Democratic Party in recent years. Unlike the vast majority of liberal lawmakers, Kennedy is not afraid to tell it like it is.

This makes him the worst nightmare of the Democrat establishment. The left loves to accuse the Republican Party of being a “cult,” but it is in fact the Democratic Party that behaves far more cult-like.

The Democrat establishment wants everyone in their party to fall in line and blindly obey whatever they say without questioning anything. They currently want the entire party to bow down and worship Harris without ever examining if she’s the right person to replace Biden.

What’s unfortunate for the Democratic Party is that if they would get behind Kennedy, he would actually have a great chance of beating Trump. Unlike Harris, Kennedy would have the potential of winning over some voters who would only vote for Trump over a radical liberal like the current vice president.

In the end, Kennedy is once again spot on with his analysis of the current political situation. Democrats would be better off if they woke up and listened to him, but it’s unlikely that they will do that anytime soon.
