You’ve probably heard the term “Christian nationalist” a lot these days. Democrats are throwing that term around to slander conservative Christians whose views don’t align with the current progressive agenda.
If you are conservative and believe the Bible is the word of God, chances are, you are a “Christian nationalist.” At least, according to many “woke” liberals.
One particular journalist decided to further define what a Christian nationalist is. According to her, these “extremist” Americans believe this one thing that contradicts the left’s main goal. And she quickly got crushed by many Americans.
From The Blaze:
Politico reporter Heidi Przybyla claimed on Thursday that Christians who believe rights are derived from God are “Christian nationalists.”…Przybyla’s comments went viral on Friday afternoon and triggered an avalanche of mockery…
“Is someone’s ignorance and religious bigotry showing?” Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) asked in response…
“What the state gives the state can take away. What God gives the state takes at its moral peril. Sincerely, The prophets of old,” Jordan Peterson responded.
What Politico reporter Heidi Przybyla said revealed more about the left’s agenda than conservatives’. She claimed that “Christian Nationalists” are so “dangerous” because they believe their rights come from God—not the government or any “earthly authority.”
She said this belief was so dangerous because it puts “natural law” above the progressive left’s agenda of pushing abortion, sex education in schools, IVF, and gay marriage. She is admitting that the left’s plan includes pushing ideas that run counter to traditional, Christian views.
And that faith in God is an obstacle to the left’s plans to impose its agenda onto Americans.
Well, she’s true about that. The left sees Christianity as a problem. And the view that God gives us rights, not the government, poses a huge threat to the left’s ideology, that Americans must submit to their demands (see: COVID).
Przybyla was fundamentally wrong in condemning “Christian nationalists,” of course. Because this view that God gives Americans their rights is not an “extremist” view, but the very view of the Founding Fathers.
The Declaration of Independence makes that abundantly clear. And users online hammered Przybyla for seemingly ignoring that foundation document. Perhaps Przybyla is hoping her viewers don’t know anything about the Declaration of Independence or the Bill of Rights.
Perhaps that’s why they push CRT so hard in schools?
Key Takeaways:
- Politico report Heidi Przybyla claimed “Christian nationalists” are dangerous because they believe their rights come from God, not an earthly authority.
- Przybyla neglected to say this belief comes from the Declaration of Independence.
- Users online criticized Przybyla for her ominous claims and ignorance.
