This week, the news world is abuzz with a fresh pandemic report: after years of refusing to say the COVID virus originated in China, D.C. officials are finally coming around.

While it hasn’t been 100% confirmed just yet, the Department of Energy said the virus likely came out of a Wuhan, China lab. And FBI Director Christopher Wray believes this is probably accurate.

Hot on the heels of these reports, the Senate made a strong move — and the chamber did it unanimously.

For years, Americans have demanded more transparency from government agencies concerning the pandemic. The origins have been a hot topic of debate from the start.

Though it seemed clear to millions that COVID definitely leaked out of the Communist country of China, the U.S. has been reluctant to confirm it. The mainstream media hasn’t wanted to even mention it.

However, now’s the time to know everything the government knows regarding this issue.

The Senate voted unanimously Wednesday on a bill that requires the Director of National Intelligence to declassify all intelligence concerning the origin of COVID-19.

The ‘COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023,’ introduced by Republican Sens. Josh Hawley and Mike Braun, was passed Wednesday night without objection.

The Senate had good reasons for pushing this bill through.

The bill stated that we have to know the origins of COVID so we can “prevent a similar pandemic from occurring in the future.” And if it did originate at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, action must be taken.

This move demands that Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines “declassify and make available to the public as much information as possible about the origin of COVID-19.”

This must happen within 90 days, too, so the government can’t drag its feet in providing the necessary information.

The bill says the agency must release info regarding “activities performed” by the Wuhan lab, all its research prior to the outbreak, and specific details about researchers who got sick in autumn 2019.

Sen. Hawley celebrated the Senate’s decision in a post on Twitter:

Even medical experts have claimed they were silenced for speaking out against certain “government approved” aspects of the pandemic.

For example, anyone who resists the vaccine and boosters is immediately demonized and branded a “conspiracy theorist,” which is similar to those who said the virus absolutely began in China.

For a long time, many in government didn’t want people to say this — but now, everyone is saying it, including high-ranking officials in Washington.

Now it’s time to see the truth and afterward, millions of Americans might also demand an apology.
