Almost from the very beginning of the pandemic, many questioned the official numbers provided by the government and the CDC.

And over the past few years, these critics have found various pieces of evidence that bring these statistics into question. Artificial inflation is a common accusation, and one that is growing in volume.

Now, it seems these accusations were at least partially correct.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is responsible for providing Americans with accurate data regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but not all Americans trust that data.

Perhaps for good reason, given the myriad of reports that say deaths attributed to the disease aren’t correct due to a variety of factors.

In this case, even the CDC has been forced to admit that some of the numbers weren’t right — but they’re blaming it on a “coding logic error,” which led to a significant overstatement of the death toll.

This mistake specifically affected the pediatric death total, as well as the overall casualty number.

It’s not a small revision, either. This dramatically alters the original report and casts new light on the first report, which clearly was way off.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revised its data this week to reduce pediatric deaths from COVID-19 by nearly 24%.

The CDC said the number was revised March 15 due to a ‘coding logic error,’ according to a footnote on the agency’s COVID Data Tracker.

Pediatric death counts were not the only ones to be lowered — total deaths were reduced by roughly 70,000.

CDC spokesperson Jasmine Reed confirmed that the adjustment had been made on March 14, and it included the removal of 72,277 deaths, 416 of which were pediatric.

It seemed their algorithm was “accidentally counting deaths that were not COVID-19-related,” which is precisely what the naysayers have been saying for months, if not years.

All told, the CDC now reports that only 921 children have died from reasons “involving COVID-19,” which is an even lower statistic than the data tracker now shows. In other words, the numbers keep falling.

Children were the least likely to die of any age group during the pandemic, and all medical evidence currently shows they still are.

This isn’t the first time it was shown that the CDC’s numbers were either inaccurate or just plain false: earlier in 2022, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that hospitalization stats for children were “misleading.”

Many say all of this is related to Big Pharma pushing their product: the higher the numbers go, the easier it is to sell that product (in this case, a vaccine and booster shots).

And when we find that these numbers were erroneous, we have to wonder — just how many of the statistics we’ve seen are also wrong?
