Biden Hammered by Humiliating News – Look What Happened to Joe’s Pet Project

Apparently, a writer from Axios—Alex Thompson—had a book deal with a major publisher to write about Joe Biden’s presidency. Simon and Schuster, one of the largest book publishers in the world, was going to pay Thompson for a book detailing the Biden administration.

Plenty of books are written about presidents and their time in office. These days, those books are written while the administrations are still in power—perhaps to help a president’s approval. Or hurt it.

Simon and Schuster recently gave Thompson the bad news. They no longer wanted his book about Joe Biden. According to one source, they gave him a clear reason why. And it is so hilarious, we couldn’t help but share it with the world.

From The Post Millennial:
The decision, revealed by two sources familiar with the matter to Daniel Lippman at Politico, comes amidst lackluster sales for books pertaining to Biden, in stark contrast to the success enjoyed by publications discussing President Donald Trump…

Originally slated for release earlier this year, Thompson’s proposed book promised a comprehensive exploration of Biden’s presidency, boasting fresh insights gleaned from his extensive coverage of the White House transition. Thompson, renowned for his in-depth reporting on Biden’s administration, chose not to offer comment to Politico, opting to quote tweet instead.

Ouch. The big house publisher canceled a deal to release a book about the Biden administration because demand for a book about Joe is just too low. Several books about Biden that have come out recently saw less-than-stellar sales numbers. One only sold 1,500 hardcover copies—an embarrassing number for a book about a man as well-known as Biden.

Meanwhile, even negative books about Donald Trump sell like hotcakes. Michael Wolff’s inflammatory “Fire and Fury” sold around 1 million copies—a massive feat in this day and age.

This can only be seen as a humiliating jab at Biden, who has served the D.C. establishment for over 40 years. Democrats are bragging about the huge fundraising numbers Biden is pulling in—as if this is a sign millions of Americans are on board for a second Joe Biden term.

But it seems as if nobody’s really interested in seeing more of Biden. Books about him—which are usually bought by hardcore political junkies—aren’t moving. Suggesting people aren’t too excited about him, and that those big fundraising numbers aren’t coming from Americans, but a small number of big-pocketed liberals.

Key Takeaways:

  • Simon and Schuster canceled a new book about the Biden administration.
  • This is due to very low sales of books about Biden.
  • Meanwhile, books about Donald Trump and his presidency have sold very well.
