Trump Could Put Nancy Pelosi’s Job In Jeopardy – In 2022, Donald Could Take Her Spot As Speaker Of The House

What’s Happening:

Many people have been longing for the day that Donald Trump returns to public office.

But could that day come sooner than expected?

The earliest Trump can return to the White House is 2025—if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

But some folks have been debating another path to the White House for Trump. One much sooner than 2024.

It would take a big red wave in the upcoming midterms, though.

From CNN:

ROOT: “Why not instead of just waiting for 2024, and I’m hoping you run in 2024, but why not run in 2022 for the United States Congress, a House seat in Florida, win big, lead us to a dramatic landslide victory, taking the House by 50 seats, and then you become the speaker of the House?”

TRUMP: “You know, it’s very interesting. That’s so interesting. And people have said, run for the Senate, OK, run for the Senate, but you know what? Your idea might be better. It’s very interesting.”

Some people have been speculating that Trump could return to power, in the midterm elections.

He could run for an open district in Florida as a representative in the House. If Republicans gain a big majority, he could be picked as Speaker of the House.

That would be a satisfying victory for Trump, who long battled Pelosi during his presidency.

But speculation goes even further. If, by some major landslide, Republicans get enough votes in the Senate, they could oust both Biden and Harris.

If Republicans take a play out of the left’s book, they could impeach both Biden and his VP over a variety of charges.

And guess who would become president, then? The Speaker of the House.

It’s a longshot by any measure, but stranger things have happened.

We know that Trump is all-in on helping Republicans retake Congress in 2022. While they might not get that many seats in the Senate, they are in a good position to take majorities in both chambers.

Would Trump surprise everyone and run as a representative out of Florida?

It’s very rare to see a president run for a lower seat, but Trump is always full of surprises.

Do you think Trump should become Speaker of the House?

Key Takeaways:

  • Speculation is rising that Trump might run for a congressional seat.
  • If GOP retakes the House in 2022, they could make Trump Speaker of the House.
  • Trump would be only 2 impeachments away from becoming president, before 2024.
