I don’t have to tell you that many Americans look back on Obama’s presidency with scorn. He promised big things for Americans, but did he deliver? His biggest “achievement” was Obamacare. Many say that failed so terribly it motivated many voters to elect Donald Trump.
But there was another achievement that Barry and his allies bragged about back in 2015. Despite all their hot air, it was never ratified by Congress.
Now, leaders around the world are commenting on this major accomplishment from Obama’s White House. Although it was supposed to protect the world and avert disaster, “nobody” followed it. And this one leader is giving it a huge, failing grade.
From Breitbart:
Rafael Grossi, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said on Monday that former President Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal with Iran “exists only on paper and means nothing.”“Nobody applies it, nobody follows it. There have been attempts to revive it here in Vienna. But unfortunately, although they were relatively close to success, they failed for reasons unknown to me, because I was not involved in the process,” Grossi complained to Russia’s Izvestia newspaper.
That’s gotta hurt a little. Rafael Grossi, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, recently said Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran was a failure. He said it “exists only on paper.” He roasted Obama’s biggest foreign policy accomplishment by saying it “means nothing.”
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was supposed to allow Iran to develop nuclear material as an energy source. It would lift sanctions on the rogue regime so long as it complied with rules that prevented it from making WMDs. A bombshell revelation from 2018 proved Iran never followed the rules, even while Obama was president.
After taking office, Donald Trump verified from his side that Iran was not keeping the deal. So, he tore it up and placed crippling sanctions on the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.
Grossi said it was an even bigger failure than that. His group tried to implement the rules Obama had laid out but couldn’t. Nobody follows Obama’s guidelines, meaning the world is a much more dangerous place than before. It seems Obama’s philosophy of “strength through peace” was much weaker than Trump’s “peace through strength.”
Biden has tried to negotiate a new deal with Iran, but critics claim that has been just as much of a failure.
Key Takeaways:
- The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency blasted Obama’s Iran nuclear deal.
- He revealed that “nobody” around the world follows the rules.
- The foreign leader said it exists on paper; Iran never followed the rules from the start.
