After Elon Musk Announces New ‘Fauci’ Rule – The Big Boss Stands Up and Goes After Washington’s Top Doc

For years now, critics have accused social media companies like Twitter of censoring and silencing content they simply don’t like.

This includes suppressing conservative views and any comments that question the COVID vaccine, or the handling of the pandemic. Many saw their accounts suspended or even permanently banned.

But new Twitter CEO Elon Musk has revealed that this is going to change — immediately.

Many contend that simply questioning the science surrounding the vaccine and boosters is not only acceptable, but also important. Blindly accepting isn’t how scientific progress is made, they say.

And that’s precisely what Musk is saying with his new Twitter policy, which he revealed yesterday:

The media narratives have followed government guidelines since the start of the pandemic: accept what we say, and don’t question it.

If you do question it, you’ll be guilty of “misinformation” and there will be consequences. This seems to fly directly in the face of the Constitution, and is disturbingly similar to fascist regime edicts.

Musk didn’t stop there, though.

After professor Gad Saad posted a video mocking Dr. Anthony Fauci’s decision to retire, Musk threw up this scathing tweet:

Many right-wing individuals who questioned the vaccine accuse the left of being hugely hypocritical on this issue.

If they’re all about the “science,” it would only make sense that they support the scientific process, and the principles on which it’s been based for thousands of years.

That’s why Elon tossed up the following meme:

The Twitter CEO – who’s reportedly looking for a more permanent CEO to take his place – has called out Big Tech in general for widespread censorship.

The now-infamous Twitter Files have proven that employees actively worked to hinder free speech in a variety of ways. But beyond that, companies like Google are apparently doing the same thing.

Journalist Matt Taibbi wrote:

The government was in constant contact not just with Twitter but with virtually every major tech firm.

These included Facebook, Microsoft, Verizon, Reddit, even Pinterest, and many others. Industry players also held regular meetings without government.

Musk replied to this, saying that “every social media company is engaged in heavy censorship” and has “significant involvement” with the government.

This is precisely what millions of Americans have been railing against for years. If we supposedly live in a free speech country, and these places are virtual public forums, than we need to ask questions.

And if we’re not allowed to ask questions, then we don’t have a republic — we have a monarchy, or some other form of authoritarian rule.

Key Takeaways:

  • Twitter CEO Elon Musk said the company’s new policy is to “follow the science,” which includes questioning the science.
  • He took a dig at Dr. Fauci as well, and added a meme mocking the leftist stance.
  • Musk has also said that all social media companies are into heavy censoring, and have worked with the government in one way or another.
