What’s Happening:
Democrats were just fine with former President Donald Trump’s banishment from social media. I guess they only like a “free” and “fair” Internet when it benefits their side only. Major social media platforms kicked Trump off after the 2020 Election–a move many viewed as politically motivated.
But things began to change after Twitter restored Trump’s account. According to reports, Trump’s people petitioned Meta to reconsider their two-year blackout of Trump’s accounts. The company recently issued its decision. And now, this week, they just sent Democrats reaching for the Prozac again.

On Facebook, Trump’s last post was from January 6 and reads, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, officially restored Trump’s social accounts on both platforms. This comes after they decided, last month, that they were going to lift their two-year ban on his account following the mess that was the 2020 Election.
Democrats rioted after learning Trump’s accounts were restored. He has yet to use any social network aside from TRUTH Social. He might never return to either Facebook or Twitter. So, why are Democrats so peeved?
Because Trump’s blackout on these major platforms was a symbolic victory for them. The left continues to hate Trump, believing all the lies they cooked up to slander him. The thought of Trump being unable to use social networks Al Qaeda has used as a kind of poetic justice for the radical left.
His reinstatement, to Democrats, is an admission by these social networks that Trump deserves to be there, same as anyone else. But, despite their claims to the contrary, Democrats don’t really believe in equality. In reality, they believe in gaming the system to benefit their side and their side only.
If you disagree with Democrats, if you support policies other than socialism, you don’t deserve equal rights. It’s as plain as that. We can’t predict if or when Trump will start using these social networks again. But just the fact he is back on those platforms is a win for freedom.
