Melania Trump Shares About Her Romantic First Date with Donald
Melania Trump Shares About Her Romantic First Date with Donald

Over the past decade, the mainstream media has worked overtime to try and shame Donald and Melania Trump as much as they can. Indeed, few other presidents and first ladies have been ridiculed to the degree that Donald and Melania have been.

It wasn’t so long ago that Bill Clinton was caught cheating on his wife, Hillary, in the White House. Despite this, their marriage is typically portrayed in a more positive light by the media than the Trumps’ union is.

The press may constantly push the false narrative that Donald and Melania are in a loveless marriage. When it comes to how the Trumps truly feel about one another, however, the reality could not be further from the truth.

In her first interview in two years, Melania is opening up about her marriage like never before. While sitting down with Fox News, Melania recounted the story of her first date with Donald. Her comments give viewers an insight into the Trumps’ marriage that the mainstream media has never wanted the public to see.

Melania and Donald met at a party in New York City in the late 1990s. Though she initially refused to give him her number, she soon relented. They then spoke on the phone while she was on a fashion shoot in the Caribbean, and they made plans for their first date.

The future first couple’s initial date involved an hour-and-a-half drive to Bedford, New Jersey. They went there so that Donald could view a property that he was considering purchasing.

“So he was combining business with taking [me] on a first date,” Melania recalled.

“And it was very nice, because we were two of us alone in the car for hour, hour and a half, and it’s no other noise, no other people, because at that time, he was already known and a celebrity,” she continued. “So it was really nice to be just two of us.”

Melania Falls In Love With Donald

During her time dating Donald, he never gave Melania any indication that he hoped to run for president someday. However, she remembers that “he always was involved in politics. He was very in tune [with] what’s going on in the world and especially in this country.”

Melania and Donald dated for six years before he proposed in 2004. They married the following year in a ceremony that Melania has never forgotten.

“It was an exciting day,” she recounted. “A busy, busy day, as every bride, you want to make sure everything goes smoothly.”

As for what she loves about her husband, Melania said, “his humor. His personality. His kindness. He’s, he’s very special. His positivity. His energy. It’s unbelievable. So we have a beautiful relationship.”

The level of ridicule that the media has treated the Trump marriage with is nothing short of shameful. After years of acting like Barack and Michelle Obama’s marriage is the greatest love story of all time, the press behaved as if the Trump marriage was a joke. This just goes to show the clear bias that the media has against conservatives in every aspect of their lives.

The media can pretend that Donald and Melania are in a loveless marriage all that they want to, but the bond between the two of them is clearly a strong one. In the end, we should all be so lucky as to have a marriage as loving as the one that Donald and Melania Trump appear to have!
