It’s safe to say most patriots are disappointed with the legacy of Sen. John McCain. After claiming to be a strong conservative all his life, the Arizona Senator has recently betrayed the party. He has had a suspicious track record in recent years.
After promising to repeal Obamacare time and again, he was one of a few republicans to vote to save it. Twice. His policies smack more of anti-American globalism that patriotism. Then, of course, there is his constant bashing of the President.
You can’t claim to be a strong conservative when you slander the leader of your party.
Now that it looks more and more like McCain is stepping away from office, people are wondering. Who will replace his seat in the Senate? With all eyes on mid-term elections this November, the rumors are not good.
From Breitbart:
Cindy McCain, wife of ailing Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), is likely to succeed the longtime lawmaker, a new report says.
John Gizzi, Newsmax’s chief political correspondent, reports:
As Arizonans prepare for their final salute to Sen. John McCain, Republicans and political pundits in the state privately tell Newsmax they expect the appointment of his wife, Cindy, to succeed him in the Senate.
Those who did agree, almost unanimously, that Cindy McCain following John in the Senate through appointment by Republican Gov. Doug Ducey is a near-certainty.
Cindy McCain is not what you call a pro-America conservative. While she claims to be “pro-life” she has been quoted as saying Roe v. Wade should not be overturned. That’s hardly pro-life. She seems more like their daughter, Meghan McCain, who frequently panders to liberals for acceptance. Both supported gay marriage during the 2010 “NOH8” campaign.
I guess being popular among the liberal elite is more important to this family than supporting American values.
Should the governor appoint Cindy, you better believe the swamp will grow. She is cut from the same elitist cloth as her husband and the rest of the insiders. They care less about the well-being of everyday people and more about keeping their donors happy. Donors like billionaire socialist George Soros.
If she’s appointed to the seat, then support for the president will be in question. John McCain never failed to attack our America first president. He openly defied him during and after the election. Do you think his wife will be any different?
I’ll let you answer that one yourself.
