Manchin Drops Honest Truth Bomb on Biden – Nails the President with Unexpected Claim

What’s Happening:

Democrat senator from West Virginia Joe Manchin stunned the nation when he announced he was not running for re-election in 2024.

Instead, he said he was going to travel the country to see if he could “mobilize the middle.” Some suspect he plans to announce a third-party candidacy for president.

That speculation might explode, after what he said during a recent interview. Manchin was not kind to his soon-to-be former Democrat colleagues in D.C. And he dropped a truth bomb on President Biden himself.

From Breitbart:
After strongly criticizing 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump, Manchin said, “And then, I’ve been, to a certain extent, on President Biden, he’s not the person we thought that was…elected being a centrist and moderate. He’s been pushed so far to the left. So, if we have this movement in the middle, maybe we can pull people back to a commonsense middle to where they can go.”

Sen. Manchin criticized Joe Biden, saying he is not “the person we thought that he was” in 2020. Manchin accused Biden of being “pushed so far to the left.” The West Virginian Democrat claimed Biden has not been the “centrist and moderate” he made himself out to be during the last election.

Manchin’s criticisms are not far from the truth. Once Biden won the Democratic nomination in 2020, he partnered with Bernie Sanders to form his policy platform. The far-left progressive had a say in who ended up working for Joe Biden.

Biden has prioritized woke gender pronouns in the Army, aggressive environmental restrictions, required schools to embrace transgender ideology, and much more. Manchin appears to be suggesting that voters have been turned off by Biden’s leftward lurch–and are perhaps looking for an alternative.

Manchin has yet to announce a presidential bid. But he is talking more and more like a rival to Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Should he announce a campaign, he will have to contend with both major parties and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is seeking to pull away moderates from both.

Key Takeaways:

  • Manchin criticized Biden saying he is “not the person we thought we was.”
  • The Democrat hit Biden over his policies, saying he’s been pushed to the left.
  • This comes as people speculate over Manchin’s possible presidential campaign.
