MLB Star Says He Wants to Moderate the First Trump/Harris Debate

After Kamala Harris told the country that she would be the Democratic nominee, Trump made her an offer. He had been slated to debate Joe Biden for a second time in September. That has been thrown out the window with Biden’s late departure from the race. Democrats scrambled to find a replacement. And in the least-democratic process ever, announced Harris was their man—I mean, woman!

Trump called out Kamala, challenging her to a debate. Fox News then extended an offer to both campaigns.

We do not know if Harris is willing to debate Trump. Given his insane momentum, she would be very foolish not to debate him. If she does decide to man up and take on the Trump, we might get an iconic person to host the event. Because a legendary athlete just stepped up and made an offer.

From Breitbart:
We still don’t know for sure if there will be a debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. However, if there is, Jose Canseco is offering to moderate it.

As the two sides grapple with the radically changing dynamics of this year’s presidential election after President Biden’s decision to drop out of the race, the former MLB slugger took to his X account Tuesday and offered his help during this time of great national upheaval.

“I should moderate the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris,” he wrote…

Fox News has also offered to host a Trump-Harris debate moderated by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

Jose Wants to Moderate Donald and Kammy

In the world of politics, it’s not often that you get a headline that genuinely makes you laugh out loud. But leave it to an iconic baseball player to inject some much-needed humor into the race. Trump has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging Kamala Harris to a debate. Just when you thought it couldn’t get more entertaining, baseball legend Jose Canseco has offered to moderate this face-off. Yes, you read that right—Jose Canseco, the home run hitter, wants to be the referee in this political slugfest.

Trump’s Bold Challenge

In typical Trump fashion, the former president has never been one to shy away from a challenge. His recent call for a debate with Kamala Harris is no exception. Trump, known for his larger-than-life personality and knack for stirring the pot, suggested that a debate with Harris would be a spectacle worth watching.

Just when you think the story couldn’t get any more outlandish, Jose Canseco, former Major League Baseball star, decides to join the fray. Canseco took to social media, declaring his desire to moderate the debate between Trump and Harris. Known for his colorful personality and unpredictable antics, Canseco’s involvement promises to add an extra layer of hilarity to an already amusing scenario.

A Ratings-Busting Event

Imagine the scene: Donald Trump, with his no-holds-barred debating style, facing off against Kamala Harris, who is known for her word salads and lack of experience. And presiding over this slaughter? None other than Jose Canseco, the man who brought us the 40-40 club and endless Twitter drama.

It’s a scenario that reads more like a Saturday Night Live sketch than a real-life political event. But in today’s world, where reality often outstrips fiction, anything seems possible.

Will this dream debate ever come to fruition? While it’s unlikely, the very suggestion has already provided a much-needed laugh in the often serious and tense world of politics. And who knows? In the unpredictable landscape of American politics, stranger things have happened.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump has challenged Kamala Harris to a debate, after she grabbed the Democrat nomination.
  • Former MLB star Jose Canseco offered to moderate the debate.
  • The potential debate highlights the increasingly blurred lines between politics and entertainment.
