Liz Cheney Demands Anti-Abortion Republicans Vote For Kamala – ‘Protect Women…’

The former Wyoming Republican Representative Liz Cheney has long had one of the worst cases of Trump derangement syndrome of anyone in politics. Indeed, she despises Donald Trump so vehemently that she allowed her hatred to destroy her own political career, getting herself voted out of Congress.

Though the people of Wyoming have made it clear that they no longer want anything to do with Cheney, she still won’t go away. Now, she’s campaigning for Kamala Harris in a desperate attempt to stop Trump from becoming president again.

On Monday, Cheney headed to Wisconsin to make an appearance with Harris. There, Cheney used some truly ridiculous logic to try and convince pro-life Republicans to vote for Harris.

From Newsweek:
Cheney said: “I’m pro-life, and I have been very troubled, deeply troubled by what I have watched happen in so many states since Dobbs. I have been troubled by the extent to which you have women who—as the vice president said—in some cases have died, who can’t get medical treatment that they need because providers are worried about criminal liability.”

Cheney continued: “Even if you are pro-life, as I am, I do not believe, for example, that the state of Texas ought to have the right, as they’re currently suing to do, to get access to women’s medical records.

“There are some very fundamental and fundamentally dangerous things that have happened, and so I think that it’s crucially important for us to find ways to have the federal government play a role and protect women from some of the worst harms that we’re seeing.”

What?!

Why would any pro-life American in their right mind even consider voting for Harris?! The fact that Cheney actually expects anti-abortion Republicans to buy this argument shows just how far gone she truly is.

Harris Supports Radically Liberal Abortion Policies

Throughout the entirety of her sham of a political career, Harris has pushed for radically liberal and woke abortion policies. She opposes federal bans on abortion.

Harris has also dramatically described the rolling back of Roe v. Wade as “horrifying.” In fact, Harris has pledged that if she wins this election, one of her administration’s main focuses will be on restoring Roe as codified law. She’s gone so far as to say that she may abolish the filibuster in Congress just to make this happen.

Yet Cheney is telling pro-life Republicans that Harris is the candidate to vote for. You truly can’t make this stuff up.

In contrast, Trump believes that abortion is an issue that should be left up to the states. He’s thrown his support behind legislation that allows individual states to decide abortion policies themselves.

Trump is also not nearly as radical about abortion as people like Cheney would have the public believe. His running mate JD Vance has said that Trump would veto a national ban on abortion if it ever came across his desk. Trump addressed this himself in a Truth Social post earlier in October.

More from Newsweek:
“EVERYONE KNOWS I WOULD NOT SUPPORT A FEDERAL ABORTION BAN, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AND WOULD, IN FACT, VETO IT, BECAUSE IT IS UP TO THE STATES TO DECIDE BASED ON THE WILL OF THEIR VOTERS (THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!). LIKE RONALD REAGAN BEFORE ME, I FULLY SUPPORT THE THREE EXCEPTIONS FOR RAPE, INCEST, AND THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER.”

It’s sad that after all these years, Trump is still living rent-free in Cheney’s head. She can keep ranting against him all that she wants to, but she’s wasting her breath. In the end, anyone who is still listening to what Cheney has to say was always voting for Harris anyway.

While it’s unclear at this point who will win the presidency, it’s certain that Cheney will have absolutely zero impact on this election. Sorry, Liz, but your political career is over!

Key Takeaways:

  • Cheney begs Republicans to vote for Harris.
  • Cheney bizarrely calls on pro-life conservatives to vote for Harris.
  • Harris has long supported radically liberal and woke abortion policies.
