What’s Happening:

When Joe Biden announced Kamala Harris as his running mate, few people shouted for joy. The media might have made a big deal out of it, but we quickly learned she was not the star ally the left hoped she’d be.

Harris has failed to distinguish herself within the Biden administration. And any criticisms of her office are met with claims of “racism” or “sexism.” But Americans don’t seem convinced. Harris has suffered from a series of bad approval responses from Americans. And now, she is being hit with news that will cast a shadow over Biden’s entire White House.

Nearly 60 percent of Americans disapprove of the performance Vice President Kamala Harris has put forth, while just 18 percent say she makes them “think better of the Biden administration,” according to a CBS News/YouGov poll.

The survey published Sunday shows that just 41 percent of Americans approve of Harris’s performance as vice president, while 59 percent disapprove to varying degrees. Only 31 percent of independents are happy with her showing, while 69 percent said they were dissatisfied.

Close to 60% of Americans disapprove of Kamala Harris. Only 18% of the country has a better view of the Biden administration, thanks to her. The only conclusion could be that Harris’ failures are actually hurting the Biden administration’s image in the American public’s mind. In fact, 42% of those asked think less of the administration, because of Kamala.

Most Americans are overwhelmingly disapproving of Harris. Only Democrats seem to approve of her. Chances are, they are unable to point to anything she’s done worthy of approval… aside from being a Democrat.

This is devastating news for Democrats. Harris’s polling is just as bad as Joe’s. If anyone thought Harris was a viable replacement for Joe–either to take his place in 2024 or afterward–these numbers cast major doubts on that.

Harris was picked by Biden in 2021 to address the border crisis. Oddly enough, it does not appear as if Harris did anything to address the problem. She did not view the border or seemingly consult with border agents or experts. She only promised millions of dollars of aid to Central America…which did nothing to abate the migrant caravans.

Since then, we’ve seen little in the way of achievement from Harris or her office. Kamala’s vice president’s office has been mired in allegations of mistreatment and abuse. A tidal wave of staffers left in previous years, as rumors abound of how the woman herself harasses staffers.

The sad reality is, Democrat voters refuse to admit Biden and Harris are failing at the job. They continue to support this administration, unwilling to confess they were wrong to back them.
