Did Kid Rock just cancel himself? The man who loudly, proudly, and publicly attacked Bud Light for betraying its working-class customer base appears to be back on the wagon. Looks like the rocker had a change of heart and is adopting the slogan, “This Bud’s for you.”

The rock-n’-roller actually shot up cases of Bud Light to kick off a months-long boycott of the beer brand for promoting a transgender activist. Last week he was photographed sipping from a Bud Light can during a concert as if all had been forgiven.

“The former rocker seemed pretty relaxed as he clutched the blue can, taking sips while chatting and laughing with some friends,” TMZ reported. “Unclear if there were other beer options available, but Kid Rock’s choice seems pretty shocking considering how hard he went in on the brand earlier this year.”

How does someone go from blasting away at beer cans to just kicking back and acting like nothing happened? This all started when transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney posted a video to social media celebrating his first year of “womanhood” while flaunting a Bud Light can that bore his likeness. Kid Rock answered with a video of himself shooting up cases of Bud Light shortly after Mulvaney’s partnership with Bud Light went public.

There was no question where Kid Rock stood on the issue as he yelled in the video, “F*** Bud Light. And f*** Anheuser-Busch,” and then flashing his middle finger. That video helped kick off the still ongoing boycott that has caused serious financial consequences and layoffs for Bud Light and parent company Anheuser-Busch. The beer maker also lost its spot among America’s top ten favorite beer brands.

Is Kid Rock’s personal boycott over? Is he stretching out his hand in peace to the beer brand while sipping on a cold one with a smile?

The man needs to step up and shout loudly what his current position is otherwise he looks like a two-faced idiot. Unless he wants to be considered a washed-up corporate sell-out Kid Rock needs to make a statement video and do so quickly. Otherwise, he may find himself hanging with the cancelled beer maker and its activist influencers.
