New Speaker McCarthy Hit with Ukraine Demand – Moments After Kevin’s House Victory, Zelenskyy Pressures Support

What’s Happening:

It was a hard-fought battle, but McCarthy won the day. After negotiating with Republican holdouts, Kevin McCarthy was elected the new Speaker of the House. This happened after four days of voting and debating. But, in the end, the former House Minority Leader is now in charge.

He quickly went to work implementing much-needed reforms. The days of Pelosi’s hellbent scheme to bilk Americans out of their money are over. Which is why we are shocked to learn of this development. Almost seconds after McCarthy wins the gavel, someone shows up hitting him for American tax dollars.

You won’t believe this.

From The Post Millennial:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday congratulated newly-elected Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and then begged for more foreign aid from the US…

“Congratulations to @GOPLeader on his election as the Speaker of [the United States] House of Representatives… We’re counting on your continued support and further U.S. assistance to bring our common victory closer.”

This is really unbelievable. The United States has already spent $54.43 billion to help Ukraine fight its endless war with Russia. We are on the hook to give them an additional $47 billion, bringing the total to $100 billion.

Imagine what we could have done with that money, here in America? Keep in mind, we are facing a historic inflation problem, with a recession around the corner. Biden’s failed to protect the border, as millions of illegals replace Americans in the workforce. And that’s not even mentioning our gas crisis, supply chain issues, and other shortages.

Yet, despite America mortgaging its future to help Ukraine, its former comedian of a president is demanding more cash.

Is anyone in America still eager to bankroll this other country’s war? Is it our job to cover Zelensky’s debts? Does this man have any plan to pay back the $100 billion we’ve already given him?

Don’t forget, that money isn’t going to feed poor Ukrainians (most of whom have already fled the country). Those tax dollars are lining the pockets of defense contractors, billions who run the military-industrial complex. This war has been a godsend to an evil industry that profits off of bloodshed.

Perhaps McCarthy’s first order of business is to cut Ukraine’s purse strings?

Key Takeaways:

  • The Ukrainian president congratulated McCarthy by asking for more money.
  • The United States has already pledged $100 billion to fund the war.
  • Those tax dollars go to weapons makers and other defense contractors in the MIC.
