Kamala’s First Big Campaign Ad Features Star Power and Far-Left Issues

Kamala Harris just became the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 election just 100 days before the election after Joe Biden dropped out (or was forced out by the party). Now, within days, she’s ready to go with a slick ad attacking Trump and pushing not a moderate platform, but instead the far-left liberal agenda.

Biden’s exit has thrown the Democrats into a whirlwind. In his wake, Harris has quickly stepped up, trying to position herself as the new face of the party. But let’s be real: the “face” she’s showing off is drenched in progressive ideologies that cater to the extreme left.

Trivia Question: When did the first televised presidential campaign ad air? Answer at the end of the article.

Kamala’s Controversial Campaign Kickoff

From Breitbart:
The Harris for President campaign launched its first official video Thursday. The drop came less than a week after the defenestration of President Joe Biden was completed and Kamala Harris anointed in his place.

The video opens with various images of Harris smiling behind a podium, the word Kamala echoing along with the word Harris. The American flag is also a feature, so too the pride flags in the footage which are “Progress Pride” flags with trans colors.

The soundtrack is the beginning of Beyoncé’s song “Freedom,” to which Harris reportedly entered and exited her first speech to campaign staffers when she confirmed the demise of Biden and her elevation in his place.

The Content of Harris’ Ad

The ad is an eye-roller. It doesn’t waste time before diving into the liberal wish list. The “Progress Pride” flags wave proudly, signaling her full endorsement of the transgender movement, while the choice of Beyoncé’s “Freedom” attempts to inject some star power into her campaign. This is nothing new for Harris, who has always been about style over substance. But the real kicker? Her unabashed promotion of abortion rights and Trump bashing, as if that alone will rally the base.

Harris’s approach is clear: rile up the left, demonize Trump, and hope that the flashy veneer covers the glaring lack of real solutions. She’s throwing red meat to the most radical elements of the Democratic Party, hoping to keep them engaged and angry. But will it work?

The country is tired of divisive politics and virtue signaling. They want real answers to real problems, not another celebrity-backed spectacle.

The Biden administration has been a disaster, and Harris’s new role doesn’t change that. She’s been a part of the same administration that has overseen inflation, border crises, and foreign policy blunders. Her record is nothing to brag about, yet here she is, trying to convince America that she’s the answer. It’s almost laughable.

Harris’s Political Gambit

This ad is clearly a gambit to lock down the progressive vote. Harris knows she’s got to shore up support from the far-left base, which means pushing every liberal hot button available.

But what about the rest of America? What about the moderates and independents who are sick of the endless culture wars and just want competent governance? Harris’s strategy seems to be doubling down on the very issues that have polarized the nation and driven voters away from the Democratic Party.

Harris’s Role in the Biden Administration

Let’s not forget that Harris has been at the helm with Biden for all the failures of this administration. From her inept handling of the border crisis to her glaring absence during critical moments, her record speaks volumes. And now she wants America to trust her with the presidency? It’s a hard sell, and this ad isn’t making it any easier.

Kamala Harris’s first campaign ad is everything we’ve come to expect from her: flashy, divisive, and out of touch with mainstream America. It’s a desperate attempt to galvanize a fractured party with a message that resonates only with the far-left echo chamber.

If this is the tone Harris is setting for her campaign, it’s going to be a long, contentious road to November. And in the end, it’s likely to push even more voters toward the only candidate offering a return to sanity: Donald Trump.

Key Takeaways:

  • Kamala Harris’s campaign ad focuses heavily on progressive issues.
  • The ad uses Beyoncé’s “Freedom” and “Progress Pride” flags.
  • Harris’s divisive approach may alienate moderate and independent voters.
