Over recent years, parents have begun to push back on what public schools have been exposing to their children. It began with a campaign to remove “critical race theory” in the post-lockdown return to classes. However, it has progressed into efforts by parents of all backgrounds to remove LGBT ideology from schools.

The concern goes beyond curriculum on homosexuality or transgenderism. In many states, teachers or school counselors have convinced children they are transgender. In some cases, they recommend treatments and therapy, without parents’ consent. Conservative-led states have banned such practices for minors, sparking intense backlash from LGBT activists. One law was brought before the courts. And a judge recently issued a ruling.

A judge ruled on Tuesday that Georgia may resume enforcing its ban on hormone replacement therapy for transgender youth, putting the judge’s previous order blocking the ban on hold.

The ruling comes after a federal appeals court granted neighboring Alabama the ability to enforce a similar restriction last month and as GOP-led states across the country seek to prohibit gender transition treatment for people under 18-years-old. At least 22 states have enacted laws restricting or banning transgender treatment for minors and most of these states have been sued.

Twenty-two Republican-led states have banned transgender practices on Americans under the age of 18. This includes cases where schools convinced children to undergo procedures or when parents are involved.

As states began passing these laws, the White House officially came out in opposition. Despite growing concern about the harmful impact transgender procedures have on a child, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre condemned states that ban the practice.

This came only days after a reportedly transgender person committed a mass shooting at a Christian school in Tennessee.

Transgender activists have sued states that passed transgender bans for minors. But the ruling in Alabama paved the way for these laws to stand. Lawyers in Georgia referenced this decision, from a federal appeals court, as grounds to dismiss the challenge to its law.

The Georgia bill allows doctors to continue procedures on children already receiving them, such as hormone blockers. New patients under the age of 18, however, are banned from receiving transgender procedures. This law also bans most transgender surgeries for children.

A growing number of Americans have started questioning the transgender ideology promoted by Democrats and the mainstream media. In recent years, liberals have aggressively endorsed transgenderism, seemingly as the latest minority group worthy of their protection.

But Americans, especially parents, have cited possible harm done to those who undergo transgender procedures–and are fighting to prevent children from being exposed to them.
