What’s Happening:
Ordinarily, joining a presidential administration is a big deal. Presidents tend to hire allies and members of their own party. Often, as has been the case with Biden, they pick people to whom they owe political favors. If you land a job at the White House, you’ve basically arrived. That can open doors to big opportunities.
Unless, of course, you have the misfortune of working for the current administration. Biden’s White House has been a disaster from day one. And we’ve seen quite a few top staffers fleeing–often to lower-ranking jobs in D.C. One rising liberal star went from being mayor of a Southern city to one of Biden’s right-hand women.
But she learned the hard way that working for Joe is a dead end.

Bottoms opted not to run for re-election for Atlanta mayor in 2021. The Democrat was initially hired at CNN as a political commentator after her exit from the mayor’s office, but later announced she would serve the Biden Administration beginning in June 2022.
How many more people are going to flee the Biden administration before they admit it’s a failure? Keisha Lance Bottoms was a Democrat star, since leading Atlanta during a period of social upheaval. She could have climbed the political ladder, winning re-election and then capturing higher offices.
She could have even moved into the media, landing a high-profile job at CNN (and a hefty paycheck we assume). Instead, she took what might have been the obvious choice, working for a president in D.C.
But, as it turns out, it was a big mistake. Bottoms is leaving after serving for less than a year. According to her own post, she was supposed to leave sooner, but they begged her to stay. Talk about a sinking ship!
As usual, we find yet another staffer from Biden’s public relations/communication wing fleeing. Biden and Harris have lost numerous people working in their press, communications, and public engagement departments. It seems nobody wants to man the responsibilities of making Joe and Kamala look intelligent and successful in the public eye.
That’s pretty bad. And we don’t blame Bottoms for leaving. Though, we could have warned her not to get involved with a fake administration like this one. Biden’s no leader; he’s just a puppet who signs whatever lobbyists tell him to sign. Bottoms would have been better off staying in Atlanta. Or maybe getting a job at Chick-fil-A.
Anything would have been better than working for Joe!
