The battle over illegal immigration rages on.

I’m sure if you’re one of many patriots on board with the President, you might not understand it. Why would any of our leaders oppose ending illegal immigration?

It’s clear the left wants to protect the current situation. Why? Because it allows them to exploit the many illegals who enter our country.

Instead of enforcing our laws and helping immigrants enter legally, liberals look the other way. They allow criminal aliens, drug cartels, and potential terrorists to enter the country.

Worse than that, Democrats are attacking the hard-working people who keep us safe; they’re waging a campaign against ICE, the agency that apprehends aliens.

These men and women put their lives on the line to deport criminal aliens, and what does the left do in thanks? Attack them, branding them as racist villains.

Well, enough is enough. When one Democrat in Congress tried to trash ICE, Director Homan had to put her in her place.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief Thomas Homan slammed a Democratic lawmaker during a House hearing Tuesday after she accused his agency of demonizing people who have illegally entered the country.

‘We love to talk about this issue of MS-13 gangs. We love to paint immigrants as criminals.

That is not the complete facts and that is very offensive for me to see continuing to happen,’ Rep. Nanette Barragan, D-Calif., said during a House Homeland Security subcommittee hearing on border and maritime issues…

Homan, who was not questioned following her remarks, asked for a chance to respond to Barragan’s initial statement.

“First of all, no one on this panel is anti-immigrant. We’re law enforcement officers enforcing the laws that you all enacted. So to sit there and say that we’re anti-immigrant is wrong. We are enforcing laws,” said Homan, acting ICE director.

‘If you think it’s OK to enter this country illegally — you shouldn’t be arrested, that’s just wrong. The laws clearly state, ‘You enter here illegally, it is a crime.’“

It’s baffling that anyone in Congress would defend illegal aliens over Americans, especially Americans that work in ICE—and agency formed to keep us safe.

But this is the Democratic Party in 2018: they don’t care about the well-being of American citizens. They’re only interested in exploiting illegals for their own gain.

This congresswoman knows full well the dangers posed at our border. Illegal immigration hurts our economy and national security; even those aliens who are not members of a drug cartel are victims of them.

But President Trump thinks we can do better. By enforcing our immigration laws, we are encouraging people to come here legally. Those immigrants will have a better chance to succeed.

They won’t live in fear of being deported but apparently, the left doesn’t like that—they prefer to have an entire sub-class of people they can abuse.

Makes you wonder why we still put up with Democrats, doesn’t it?
