When word broke that Joe Biden had mishandled classified documents, Democrats knew they were in trouble. The scandal got so bad, so far, that the DOJ had to pick a special counsel to investigate it. A former Trump appointee is handling the case; Biden should be worried.
But top Republicans in the House aren’t sleeping on this. James Comer, head of the House Oversight Committee, is also investigating Biden’s misdeeds. And, in a recent interview, he dropped another bomb. This isn’t even the only scandal Biden is being investigated over.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said during an interview Monday that President Joe Biden was under investigation for allegedly “influence peddling with our adversaries.” […]
“Take into consideration that he’s also being investigated for influence peddling with our adversaries around the world,” Comer continued. “And it’s even more concerning look, more information comes out every day, where his son, especially as well as his two brothers, have had shady business dealings with our adversaries around the world.”
Yikes. We knew about the investigations into Joe Biden’s improper handling of classified documents. But now, Rep. Comer reveals that Biden is also being investigated for alleged “influence peddling” to our adversaries around the world.
Comer also mentioned Biden’s wayward son Hunter and his two brothers, who long used the Biden name to land lucrative deals for themselves.
It seems Comer is speaking of the way Hunter and his uncles used Biden’s name to land deals overseas. Comer accused them of pitching to “shady characters,” promising these foreign entities access to Biden and other people “at the highest levels of our federal government.”
Is Comer just talking about Biden’s time as vice president? Or is this “influence peddling” still going on now? Which “adversaries” is he referring to? China? Ukraine? Perhaps even Iran or Russia?
We’ve heard rumors about these “deals” for a long time. But this might be the first time we know of an investigation into these accounts. Hunter Biden has long been a subject of federal investigations. But mostly over his personal business issues. Can the DOJ be finally investigating the biggest Biden family scandal?
