The battle to end illegal immigration has many fronts. Liberals have been very good at protect illegal immigrants.
Just imagine how good Americans would have it, if they put that much effort into protecting them?
The Trump administration has launched numerous efforts to curtail this unjust situation. Border agents are allowed to enforce the law. ICE is rounding up criminal aliens. And—despite what the media says—the wall is getting built.
Trump’s DOJ just pushed another step that will have illegals launched over the border.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and other officials say delays in immigration courts have led to a backlog in processing individuals for deportation.
Immigration attorneys and the immigration judges’ union told the newspaper the new process could lead to expedited cases at the expense of waiting for all of the evidence to be presented in a defendant’s favor.
Immigration activists use delays in our courts to keep illegals in the country. Long enough so that they can evade authorities for a few more decades. But this new move will require courts to actually close cases and decide these illegals’ fates quickly.
Anyone whose served on jury duty knows how long the court process can be. Lawyers drag out cases deliberately, hoping to deny the cause of justice. That’s especially true for immigration cases.
What “evidence” can be presented that gets an illegal alien out of deportation? They’re illegal aliens. Duh! They can either prove they are legal immigrants or they get deported. There is no reason to delay their cases.
A quota will certainly encourage cases to be resolved quickly. Judges won’t be allowed to delay them, when they have to close 700/year. Knowing how government works, that is a low number. But it’s certainly better than how many they are closing right now.
Don’t be surprised to hear more bellyaching from the left over this. But this isn’t a policy that will be able to fight. It’s an internal measure by the Attorney General to judges. It will go into effect on October 1.
