After Haley Suffers Humiliating Loss – She Makes a Wild Trump Accusation

This week, the Haley campaign suffered an embarrassing setback. She was the only person running in Nevada’s state primary. Despite this, 63% of Republican voters picked “none of the candidates” over her.

Nevada GOP delegates will be awarded via the later-held caucuses, in which Haley isn’t running. Critics have hammered the Republican for a shocking lack of planning and management.

People want to know why Haley fumbled so badly when she claims to be determined to become the GOP nominee. She gave her answer about why she did so poorly in Nevada. And she sounded oddly like Trump when she gave her answer.

From Daily Wire:
“No, I mean, Nevada, it’s such a scam. They were supposed to have a primary. Trump rigged it so that the GOP chairman, who’s been indicted, would go and create a caucus. We knew months ago that we weren’t going to spend a day or a dollar in Nevada, because it wasn’t worth it.”

In a shocking move, Nikki Haley claimed she lost because Nevada was “such a scam.” She claimed Donald Trump “rigged” the primary process by convincing the state’s GOP to hold a caucus, instead of relying on the state-mandated primary.

She went on to claim that the GOP chairman of Nevada had been “indicted.” That appears to be an ugly and unnecessary thing to bring up—perhaps something that could contribute to a rift between herself and GOP voters.

It’s unknown why, when learning about the caucus, Haley refused to participate. She said her campaign did “spend a day or a dollar” in the state, despite needing every last delegate.

Voters will no doubt be baffled to hear Haley’s excuse. She might convince some that the caucus move was planned by Trump. But that does not explain why voters who did go to the polls on Tuesday to vote in the primary still chose “nobody” over her.

Haley continues to run against Trump, despite overwhelmingly bad poll numbers. Perhaps she is hoping Trump will get knocked out by a Democrat-led conviction. Then, in that scenario, the party would default to her. That is a long shot, with many hurdles to overcome.

But that could be the only way Haley gets the nomination at this point.

Key Takeaways:

  • Nikki Haley blamed Trump for her humiliating loss in Nevada.
  • The candidate claims Trump and the GOP “rigged” the system.
  • Haley lost to “none of these candidates” in the state-mandated primary.
