Heading into next month’s presidential election, abortion is one of the hottest topics on the minds of the American people. That’s why liberals are sure to lose their minds over what just happened in Georgia.

Back in 2018, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the LIFE Act. This bill protected unborn babies when they develop a heartbeat at around six weeks into a woman’s pregnancy.

Last week, Fulton County Judge Robert McBurney struck down the LIFE Act. In a huge victory for conservatives, however, the Georgia Supreme Court just reinstated it.

The court granted the state’s request that the pro-life protections be kept in place while an appeal is heard on a Fulton County judge’s decision to strike down the law as “arbitrary.” Six judges on the court agreed with the state while one offered a partial concurrence and the remaining two did not participate.

The court’s ruling was praised by pro-life advocates but decried by pro-abortion groups. The law will be reinstated at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

It should go without saying that once they develop a heartbeat, unborn babies are living creatures. This inherently means that aborting them is murder and should not be allowed to happen. Sadly, liberals have no respect for the unborn and see nothing wrong with killing them before they truly have a chance at life.

Notice that the vote was six to three. This indicates that there wasn’t much liberal dissent. Indeed, the judges of the Georgia Supreme Court could not deny that there is no great legal argument against this bill.

Liberals Melt Down Over Ruling

It should come as no surprise that liberals are already losing their minds over the Georgia Supreme Court’s decision. The woke organization Planned Parenthood dramatically described the ruling as being “devastating.”

“Georgia’s Supreme Court reinstated a six-week abortion ban — putting the ban into effect just one week after a lower court found it unconstitutional,” the abortion giant said in a statement. “Georgians deserve better. Every person should be able to get the care they need.”

You know who actually deserves better? Unborn babies who are being senselessly murdered in abortions in liberal meccas all over this country.

This came one week after Fulton County Judge McBurney struck down the LIFE Act.

“When a fetus growing inside a woman reaches viability, when society can assume care and responsibility for that separate life, then — and only then — may society intervene,” McBurney wrote in his decision.

McBurney went on to say that “liberty” in Georgia included “the power of a woman to control her own body, to decide what happens to it and in it, and to reject state interference with her healthcare choices.”

Unfortunately for him, it seems that the state’s Supreme Court believes that “liberty” in Georgia includes the rights of unborn babies to live. Go figure!

Georgia is one of the major battleground states that will likely decide this presidential election. As the race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris heats up, Democrats have focused much of their campaign efforts on calling for a national guarantee of abortion. Only time will tell if this shameful strategy works out for them.
