Anti-Trump DA Gets Some Terrible News – Her Career Could Come to a Screeching Halt

What’s Happening:

Once again, Democrats have thrown an indictment against GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump. A Democrat district attorney out of Georgia has charged Trump with a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 Elections results in that state. Legal experts have already been weighing in on this new indictment, suggesting the case violates his right to political speech.

Many Americans believe these indictments are simply attempts by Democrats to derail Trump’s 2024 campaign. Others have accused the liberal DA, Fani Willis, of using this case as a way to prop up her budding political career. But a new law passed earlier in the year might set her back quite a bit. Because a Georgia panel might shut her down for good.

From The Post Millennial:

In May, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp authorized the creation of the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission, a panel that would be given the authority to investigate district attorneys and prosecutors, and subsequently punish or remove them from office…

As the Associated Press reported at the time, Kemp justified the creation of the panel by suggesting it would prevent “far-left prosecutors” from “making our communities less safe.”

Uh-oh. Georgia recently passed a law to create a panel that would investigate district attorneys who are neglecting their jobs or abusing their power. This comes as many district attorneys, across the country, have been releasing criminals from jail, refusing to prosecute a variety of crimes, or allowing crime to explode on their watch.

Most, if not all, of these prosecutors were funded by George Soros–a Democrat megadonor.

This month, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones revealed the panel received its eight members. Some suspect this panel will investigate Fani Willis’s case against Trump. It is possible they will deem her campaign against the former president a violation of her power–and maybe even remove her from her post.

The governor claimed this panel was to prevent “far-left prosecutors” from refusing to uphold the law. It is possible that Willis will get hit with a charge that, in pursuing the former president, she has refused to prosecute crimes that have left Fulton County families less safe.

In recent years, residents who live in and around Fulton County have complained about rising crime. Some have even tried to annex their neighborhoods out of the county, in the hopes of joining ones that better enforce the law. Could this lead to Willis facing an investigation by this panel?

I guess we’ll find out.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Georgia DA charging Trump with crimes could be removed from office.
  • A new state law created a panel to investigate far-left prosecutors who refuse to protect communities.
  • Some have accused DA Willis of pursuing this case against Trump to further her career.
