For the most part, many high-profile celebrities are in lock-step with the liberal regime. Sports icons and Hollywood stars alike typically toe the far-left line.
However, there are a few notable exceptions to that rule. Actors like James Woods and Patricia Heaton, and musicians like Kid Rock and Ted Nugent, often push back against the increasingly radical liberal agenda.
Now, add another name to that list: legendary quarterback Brett Favre.
Favre isn’t afraid to speak his mind and when it comes to the thorny subject of transgenderism, he’s definitely not waffling. He’s speaking his mind, which will undoubtedly be deemed “hate speech” by the left.
During an interview on Jason Whitlock’s “Fearless” podcast, the former Green Bay Packer QB talked about a trans-identifying man using a women’s bathroom.
He had just one word for that: WRONG.
Via The Daily Wire:
During the 53-year-old’s recent appearance on Jason Whitlock’s ‘Fearless’ podcast, Favre said some of the things leftists promote are “beyond belief,” Fox News reported.
‘To think that a young man who identifies as a girl, I don’t understand it — just hear me out — can go into a girl’s bathroom and use the restroom with girls, and for us to think that’s OK, I think is wrong,’ said Favre.
‘I’m sorry…’ he added. ‘I just think some things we’re allowing in this country are beyond belief… Some of the thoughts and beliefs we’re seeing are crazy.’
Naturally, the conversation shifted to allowing trans-identifying males to compete in women’s sports.
Both Whitlock and Favre ripped the idea, and Favre said the only reason athletes aren’t speaking out is because they’re “afraid of what it’ll do to their career.”
In regards to the latter issue, other significant athletes – such as tennis legend Martina Navratilova – have spoken out against the idea, saying it essentially handicaps real female athletes.
As for Favre, he uses words like “scary” and “crazy” to denounce the left’s push.

It’s also important to note that people like Navratilova are self-proclaimed feminists themselves (and in her case, also gay). And they’re not in support of this at all.
“Stop explaining feminism to feminists,” she said in a viral post. Favre, while of course not female, also believes in a woman’s rights in sports — and her right to compete against her own gender, and only her own gender.
The left simply accuses anyone who disagrees with their rhetoric of being “transphobic.” This, regardless of what biology has told us for hundreds of years.
Favre, Navratilova, and many others aren’t afraid to speak out, but their careers in sports are over: as Favre says, athletes in their primes are probably scared to come forward.
And that doesn’t exactly scream “freedom of speech.”

- He specifically called the idea of a man identifying as a woman using a women’s bathroom as “wrong.”
