In recent years, we’ve heard Democrats talk about “reparations.” It is their latest attempt at pandering to black Americans. Essentially, they want to bribe black voters into sticking with the left, promising them cash money, because their ancestors were slaves.
The entire idea is built on the assumption that people whose ancestors supported slavery should be punished. And people whose ancestors suffered as slaves deserve to be rewarded. I guess that means Democrats can’t let go of the past–and want to dredge up it whenever it is convenient for them politically.
But they won’t be happy with this recent bill, proposed by Florida Republicans.

A Florida Republican this week introduced a bill to require the state Division of Elections to reject the electoral filings of a political party that previously advocated for slavery.
Dubbed “The Ultimate Cancel Act,” state Sen. Blaise Ingoglia’s plan would automatically notify members of a “canceled” party that it had been dissolved and to change their party affiliations to “no party affiliation,” NBC News reported.
Oh, wow! A Republican lawmaker in Florida is proposing a bill that would force parties that supported slavery to be dissolved. Anyone who is a member of such parties would be required to file as “no party affiliation” thereafter.
Democrats, of course, were the party of slavery. They even fought to protect slavery in the South during the Civil War. Democrats opposed abolition, as well as integration, spreading propaganda against black Americans.
Republicans, on the other hand, formed their party with the express purpose of ending slavery. This law would not hurt the Republican Party, but force Democrats to disband. Talk about cancel culture!
This bill is obviously a rebuke at the left’s attempts at pushing reparations and other means of stoking old, racial tensions. Democrats know they can manipulate black people, by constantly talking about slavery. To Democrats, we can never move on; we have to keep talking about something from over 100 years ago.
Not to make things better, but to keep black people convinced Democrats are their only salvation. But what do they get by supporting Democrats? Nothing. Just fewer economic opportunities, more crime in their communities, and welfare that has crippled millions of families.
Perhaps this bill needs to be passed in every state in America?
