Feinstein Hit with Eye-Opening Report – Her Own Californians Send Her Spinning

What’s Happening:

Earlier in the year, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein was out of the Senate for nearly 3 months. The 89-year-old Democrat was battling shingles. Her absence was so long, several Democrats in Congress demanded her resignation.

When she returned, things seemed to only get worse.

Feinstein appeared much worse for wear. And her office admitted that she has suffered more than just the shingles. The elderly Democrat needs to be pushed around in a wheelchair and appears to not have remembered her extended stay in the hospital. More people are calling for her resignation. And now, she is being hit with another whammy.

From Daily Wire:

Approval of the way Feinstein is handling her job has dropped to 30% among likely voters surveyed in Orange and San Diego Counties by the Public Policy Institute of California, The Orange County Register reported on Friday.

Yikes. Feinstein’s approval dropped by 10% from the prior years. It’s only 30% in two major counties. And across the state, it is in the low thirties or high twenties.

It seems her already-dismal ratings took a dive after news spread she was out for the count. Feinstein was in the hospital for about 10 weeks. Meanwhile, her office was very quiet about what was going on.

We were only told she was battling shingles, a painful and potentially deadly disease. But we later found out she suffered complications from the virus, including facial paralysis and encephalitis. No wonder voters aren’t approving.

I’m not for unceremoniously throwing an old woman out of office. But let’s get real. At this point, it is cruel to think a woman this old, suffering from this much, has any business in the U.S. Senate. Out of compassion, her fellow colleagues in the Senate should either encourage her to step down or vote to remove her.

Nobody suffering serious physical or mental illnesses should be forced to carry on a job like being a senator… or president.

We’re looking at you, Joe!

Feinstein is set to retire after 2024, but her low approval won’t go over well with whoever tries to take her seat.

Key Takeaways:

  • Feinstein’s approval has tanked after her prolonged absence from the Senate.
  • The Democrat suffered serious complications due to the shingles virus.
  • Feinstein is nearly 90 years old; many have called for her resignation.
